I love Duane Reade! Most stores tend to close earlier than their posted time. I walked in at the last hour with just 10 minutes to spare to purchase pain reliever and was impressed that no one was posted at the door to shoo customers away or repeatedly lock/​unlock the door. Though they didn’t have the specific product that I needed, I had an alternate. I loved that I could cash in my points for a couple dollars off my purchase. Checkout was smooth and time efficient. Kudos to the team!

The worst Duane Reade ever. Line to the cashier is always long. They are incredibly slow paced. The manager doesn’t care to increase the staff at the register nor the staff care to help when the line is long.

The store itself is decent. However, I will never go to the pharmacy again. Last week was the third time the old, male pharmacist said they did not carry my (very common) prescribed medicine and seemingly dismissed me. No effort made for recourse of locating the meds at another D.R. No, no customer service at all. I ended up going to CVS around the corner… where I will go from now on.

Duane Reade always surprises me. I pick up a product and I’m presently surprised that its on sale, clearance or discounted in some way. I usually run over here to stock up on snacks and essentials before class and I always walk out with more than I intended to buy.
The store is very clean, organized and well-​lit. The staff are never around when I need help to find an item, but are friendly enough when I’m paying and checking out.
When the Pharmacy tells you to come back in 45 mins to pick up a prescription, they really mean 45 mins. I appreciate that.

The signs in the isles were wrong as the tissues weren’t where they were supposed to be. Prices aren’t as I cheap as I imagined to be given the area.
