Just had to take the time to express how great the place was. I had a plan to throw a New Years Eve party. I thought about cooking but decided against it. My friend recommend East Broadway Café. I called the restaurant and spoke to Ms. Trina who was more than willing to take my last minute large order. Well I was pleasantly surprise that she was able to take such a large order the day before my event. When I arrived to pick up my order on the day of my event they were very pleasant and welcoming. I received my order and a little extra,“Ms. Trina’s Wings”. The food smelled sooo good that I nibble on one(ok four wings) on my drive home. My guests were very happy with the food and so was I. For my next event I will make sure I plan ahead and order from this restaurant. YUMMY! Love love love!!!

I ordered the Salmon cake dinner with mac-cheese/yam side dishes, and a lemonade drink. The food was plentiful, flavorful, and not greasy(a big plus for me). Lemonade was good but it didn’t taste fresh squeezed, more like bottled lemon juice. Food was so good I think I’ll order the Brisket dinner or Grilled Chicken dinner next time with a helping of peach cobbler and a lemonade. Definitely get more bang for your buck here.

I’ve never had a single piece of food from these guys I dislike, but between Eat24& the restaurant, I’ve had a delivery canceled 45 minutes after I ordered it because they were closed. I really like this place, I just hope they(& Eat24) ensure seamless delivery in the future so I can enjoy the tasty shrimp, that awesome chicken with red velvet waffles and that tasty pork chop. mmmm

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. My co worker and I decided to try this place. So many things wrong. The delivery guy was filthy and smelled. He looked like a mechanic and had dirty oil all over his clothes and face.(Strike 1). I couldn’t help but wonder if he made our food. Their garlic shrimp was disgusting, watery grits, unflavor Mac and cheese, over cooked cabbage.(Strike 2). I wouldn’t care if his place was giving out free food I would never order here again! Don’t waste your time or money on this place, their are way better places in the area. I want my money back!

I’ve eaten here twice and I refuse to ever eat here again – on principle! The food is good and it may seem a bit pricey but the amount you receive is proportionate to the cost. However, upon my last visit, I was offended and disgusted by the unprofessional and profane behavior of the seemingly friendly woman(late 30s) working there. Two gentlemen who entered the establishment before me were undecided and they allowed me to order before them. Either because the restaurant was currently only accepting cash or because the menu didn’t appeal to the men, they decided to leave. This angered the woman for some reason who yelled to them, «Well, goodnight to you too!» Then, loud enough for me to hear, she said, «Fucking assholes! Faggy mother fuckers!» By this time, I had already paid and was holding my food. I left in shock and disbelief and, regrettably, did not reprimand the woman. I will NEVER return!
