My friend recommended that we try out this place that sells all sorts of Mexican desserts and goods. I settled for the piña colada chamoyada for $ 8. I think there was a bit a price gauging going on because it was our first time here and we didn’t know what to expect and what to get. There weren’t even prices on the menu. I believe the price varies from person to person at this place. The little girl that took my order asked«how much was I charging you again?» After telling me she’s charged me $ 8 before she made my chamoyada. Other than that, my experience here was great. The chamoyada was perfect for a hot summer day and it sure was an interesting experience.

So I walked by in the past and saw that they displayed their specialty drinks and foods outside.(Check out the pics I uploaded). Being the biggest fan of tamales, I had no choice but to try them out. I’m pretty glad I did. For just $ 2 each, I tried the pork and chicken options. Pretty good! I was not expecting them to be made with hominy corn, though. Either way, it was a pleasant change to the usual«masa» of a tamale. There are other flavors that I’ll try eventually.
