La Verdad es Una tienda que tiene cosas bonitas pero la verdad no se dejen engañar el león no es como lo pintan lo digo por experiencia propia. Te ofrecen cosas que según es de buena calidad pero al paso de dos a tres meses todo se va desintegrando. Yo compre una sala y la tengo que tirar porque se está saliendo el material de costura, forros y partes que detienen los respaldos.

I’ve shopped here many times. Learned about this place from my mother. I grew up while she shopped here. It’s really a great furniture store with great sales man ship.
Took off one star because for the first time ever, flamingo barely bargained with me or showed interest in making a sale like they used to. So I went somewhere else and got stuff for cheaper. I was really looking forward to keeping the legacy of buying from flamingo from my mom to me to my kids. Oh well.

Sales people friendly and not in your face. Walked the whole store after seeing a sales person who advised I take my time. He came up to the 2^nd level after 15mins and asked if I was good. Ended up going back 4 weeks later. Different sales person, same thing. Bought the couch, it was delivered after 10 days and well worth the price.
I would recommend!

I had found a potential bedroom dresser and chest on Wayfair, but for furniture that is not black, I often want to see it in person. I found Flamingo from the many good reviews here and went to the website. Low and behold — they had the set! And off I set down 5^th avenue.
Wynn found us minutes after walking through the door and was helpful guiding us through the many pieces of furniture on the floor. While the piece I wanted wasn’t exactly there, there was another piece that was. I got to see the color and felt good about it. Wynn agreed to honor the website prices (often cheaper) and with the 10% off deal, this was by far the best price for these two pieces that I had seen — including Wayfair.
Waiting to get the furniture delivered and assembled (oh so glad the days of putting things together are behind me) — so will update if anything goes wrong there. I will say that there’s a 7 – 10 day order period, so if you’re looking to have something ready for that evening this may not be the place for you.

Everything is great & the 10% discount is acepted but the only bad thing about it is that certain things needs a 7 Business days to delivery.

I bought a couch 45 days ago, when I was in their store they promised that it will come in 10 days the most. That is the main reason I bought it, and nobody told me that the couch doesnt even exist, I found out after 15 days when I called, that it comes from Asia and that it will be shipped soon… 45 days later still no couch and I got really tired of sitting on the carpet…

So, I’ve recently moved. This means that I’ve been an unapologetic creep when it comes to buying stuff for my apartment.
For weeks, I’ve been creeping on IKEA, CB2, Room & Board, Pier 1, Raymour & Flanagan (sp?) etc… Taking pictures and walking away, asking around, and looking up reviews.

Anyhow, for me it wasn’t just the value of the furniture, but I’m really particular about customer service. After falling in like with a few pieces of furniture at the above-​mentioned places of business, I’d be horrified upon reading some of their reviews on Unilocal.Yeah, I know there’s a skew attributed to unhappy people who hate life, but who needs unreliable delivery, etc. in their lives?
So in came Flamingo Furniture. It’s like a giant pink elephant in the room that is Sunset Park. I had some reservations, but Unilocal mollified some of them, and they were pretty much eradicated after seeing what they had to offer and the very exceptional help provided by Wynn. He answered all of my (and my mother’s) questions, and was very transparent about the entire process. When discussing my concerns about delivery, as it was to Queens, he personally vouched for how great a business Flamingo Furniture was, and that he was completely accessible should there be any concerns.
And there you have it: I purchased a few pieces of furniture and so far, so good. The delivery guys were great too, especially since I live in a 4^th floor walk up. I think I put «sorry» on the purchase order when asked if I had an elevator. They did forget to deliver a counter height table the day everything else arrived, but Diana was incredibly prompt, professional, and made sure to work with me on getting it delivered on another date.
Did you know flamingos are monogamous and only lay one egg a year? I think I’m done creeping for furniture for the rest of the year. But in 2015…

I had an incredibly wonderful time at Flamingo Furniture. I was looking for a sofa for my small living room… with really specific dimensions and they had an amazing selection to accommodate my needs. Everyone I interacted with was extremely helpful and nice. Such a refreshing experience. Wynn was particularly helpful — he’s so great! On delivery day, they were wonderful. They called in the morning and told me the time they estimated their arrival, and were prompt, polite and fast. I couldn’t have asked for a better furniture shopping experience! 5 Stars for sure.

Wynn was very helpful in providing us with many options. Options that weren’t even on the floor. He gave us a very objective perspective of the furniture and pricing of the furniture. If you are looking for quality furniture, especially couches, ask to look at the book and order from here. Going to places like west elm will break your pockets and you can get the best quality here and not spend so much! I recommend this furniture store!

Extremely unprofessional secretary. They messed up my order, never called me back, and on top of that hanged up on me. Ordered since June 18 and my order won’t be complete until second week of July. KEEP AWAY from these rude, unreliable unprofessional business.

I was coming into this store 30 minutes before they were closing and wanted to buy a bunch of stuff. They were super accommodating.
It only took a few minutes before I found a couch I liked and wanted. The second floor was already closed and the lights had been turned off, but Wynn (my amazing salesman!) took me up there and I quickly found a bedroom set I wanted. The only other thing I wanted was an entertainment consul and they didn’t have any I wanted so he helped me pick one from the catalog. He was awesome.
When the delivery guys arrived a week later on the date I requested, they were on time and assembled everything quickly and efficiently.
I would definitely shop here again.

Still five stars! We got our furniture delivered within a week. Everything was assembled and set up just where we wanted it. They were quick and made sure to take the trash/​boxes with them. We noticed a couple defects with the furniture. Nothing that was a huge deal, but we called Flamingo and told them about our issues. They sent someone out the next day to see if they could fix the problems, or if they’d have to replace the pieces of furniture for us. Sure enough, they needed to order new pieces. A week later the new furniture arrived and they took away the pieces that were defective. Now we’re happy happy happy!

I don’t know why they advertise 6 floors of furniture; it’s more like 3 (but still impressive). There are couches on every single floor, so it’s not like things are overly organized. Not too many salespeople available, especially when you get to the top floor. They have a decent selection of furniture in the showroom. Prices are better than Ashley Furniture (and they even carry Ashley lines). One of the few places where I called and asked if they had X and they actually had X when we showed up in person.

Great furniture store in Brooklyn for all your furniture staples in your home — bedrooms, sofas, entertainment centers, etc.

Just got back from my third visit here over the past week, and my fiancée and I finally decided on a bedroom set and sofa/​love seat combo. I can’t say anything about the furniture itself since its set to be delivered in a few weeks, but I can comment about the store itself, and my experience with the sales staff.
Everybody was very friendly and out-​going that we dealt with. The manager, Jonathon, recognized me immediately when I came back, and was quick to shake hands and say hi. However, we dealt mostly with Wynn, who was apparently the expert on bedroom sets, which is where we started out.
I read some reviews on other sites saying the staff was rude, pushy, uninformed, etc., but I actually did not have this experience at all. Wynn was very knowledgable about the different sets, and was great at pointing out the important facts – i.e., solid wood, pressed wood, etc., in addition to noting which ones would be sturdier than others (even when the sturdier ones were less expensive!).
Another complaint was that people felt very pressured, and having bought, well, anything, I was pleasantly surprised by how Wynn handled it. We were also looking at coffee tables, so he helped us take a look, but when we weren’t sure about any, he didn’t try to pressure us at all – even though he had already showed us several on the floor, taken the time to show us ones from the catalog, etc. As soon as we mentioned that we were unsure, his response was great – Sure, sure, if you’re interested in looking again, let me know. Even though there were some we kind of liked, he did NOT try to pressure us into getting it. If we weren’t interested, he respected that.
Further more, he was especially apt in letting us know that, if he was offering us a bundled or discounted price on something, he would honor that sale in the near future (i.e., not in 6 months, but in a few weeks) if we so choose, even if what we were buying was not bundled with our stuff. Pretty nice touch!
I have read some mixed reviews of some of the brands (such as Ashley) that we purchased, but the quality of the furniture in the store seemed pretty good, so I’m a bit dubious of the one or two reviews I’ve seen. However, I will definitely be updating this with a further review (and possibly a fifth star!) when we’ve received and have setup the furniture. Until then, however, I was extremely pleased with my experiences here!
