We specialize in custom framing, archival framing, cutting edge design, and matting and hinging of artwork. We use only archival products and methods, to ensure the long life of your artwork. We work with artists, galleries, and museums, as well as art collectors and art lovers who care about the preservation of their piece. We also frame posters, certificates, diplomas, and anything that fits into a frame. In short, if you have a piece that’s important to you, we can frame it!

F4A also offers custom artist panels for painting and drawing. Our high quality artist panels are competitively priced and come in 3 types of wood.

History

Established in 2007.

The owner, Meg H, has been framing fine art for 18 years. She owned MeSH Gallery, a frame shop and contemporary art gallery in Northern California for 7 years, where she worked with paper conservators, galleries, and museums in the Bay Area. In 2006 she moved to New York City where she framed at the Museum of Modern Art. She then opened Framing 4 Artists, which is geared toward artists and art lovers who care about the presentation and preservation of their fine art. Meg is an artist who has a keen eye for design, and who believes that the frame should enhance the artwork, not overwhelm it. Her framing designs are simple, elegant, and contemporary. Her clients are as diverse as Dieu Donne and Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as many artists and collectors in the greater New York City area.
