German Kitchen Center

My renovation is now complete other then some minor adjustments and it is gorgeous if I do say so myself. And if you don’t want to take my word, I posted some photos. The German Kitchen experience still ranks 5 stars. From start to finish, it was great. As with any major project, there were some hiccups along the way, but every issue (all pretty minor in the grand scheme of things) was resolved quickly and satisfactorily. The team at GKC is the best. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. They kept the project moving, worked with my contractor, and sent a fantastic installer for the cabinets. This was a really big renovation and it took less than 2 months from start to finish; would have been even faster if we hadn’t lost 2 weeks to vacation plans and the holidays (my building doesn’t allow reno work between Christmas & New Years). So far, I am extremely pleased with the cabinetry. The quality is great and there are so many pull outs and drawers! I am a serious cook and own an awful lot of gear and there is a place for everything so I can keep my counters free of clutter.
I thought the price was very reasonable for the amount and quality of the cabinetry I got. GKC also sourced my flooring, counters and appliances. I did not shop around the flooring or the counters but they were in line with prices I paid for similar products when I did the kitchen in my former residence. I did compare the appliance prices to AJ Madison and they were about the same; GKC did a little better on a few things. It made it so much easier to do a big job when I didn’t have to run to tons of places and set up multiple deliveries. GKC had the cabinets and appliances delivered together, which was great.
If you are looking to do a kitchen, I would not bother to go anywhere else. I think you will be blown away by the designs, the product and the quality of the team there.

I’ve been researching kitchen cabinets for a month and a half now. I went to Home Depot, Ikea, a few places in Brooklyn and Manhattan, and then when I thought I was done, I went to see German Kitchens and I absolutely fell in love with the design, quality, and finishes. There is nothing like it in the US market, especially if you like contemporary.
I placed my order yesterday, fingers crossed, they’ll deliver as promised. So far a very pleasant experience, beautiful showroom, super knowledgeable and attentive staff dedicated to their product. To be continued…
