I am mystified by the good rankings for this place. My BBQ chicken slice was a disaster. This is white slice, with no red sauce. The BBQ sauce surrounding the chicken is designed to be a substitute, but the sweet brown stuff barely struggled to stay afloat under mounds of cheese. The chicken had a very dry, almost industrial quality to it, as if it came from supermarket surplus many weeks before. The pizzaiolo reheated it for several minutes in the oven, perhaps in a vain attempt to revive the slice. All was lost. Instead cheese flowed over the bounds of the thin crust, causing me to sheepishly approach the counter for a knife and fork. Picture this sad sight — a man, eating a tasteless triangle of cheese and bread with utensils, in a nearly empty dining room. Slowly, he realizes why the adjoining tables are empty.

If you need a quick slice, Ginos will do in a hurry. Got a plain slice and a pepperoni. They were both good, and 5 years ago I’d be happy to leave it at that. But there’s so many new pizza places in the area that I can’t help but think Ginos will be left behind. They have a relatively big corner space, which is prime real estate. So I say get it while they’re still around and support local businesses.

The food is good. I had a slice of veg pizza and an eggplant calzone. Only complain is that both ends of the calzone have raw flour taste.

Great slice. Wonderful taste, very greasy but doesn’t fall apart. Definitely satisfied my craving. I’d come here again

Best New York style pizza we have had. Good crispy/doughy ratio crust. Delicious toppings. Sauce had lovely flavor. Buffalo chicken pizza had the most chicken on a pizza I had ever seen. My one qualm(despite the qualm, still a five star review) was that there was no blue cheese on the buffalo chicken pizza. However this is a very minor qualm. Overall it was great!

Been coming here since I was a kid. Their plane slices are very good. I also usually get wraps from here with chicken tomatoes feta cheese and jalapeños. Delicious. The Philly cheese steaks won’t disappoint either. Friendly guys behind counter

Been ordering from Gino’s for at least 5 years. Full pies are always amazing! Love their philly cheesesteak and chicken parm hero. Getting a single slice 15 min before closing doesn’t yield the best results, but otherwise, these guys are spot on. Fast, friendly, delivery guys are quick, polite(and actually close the front gate) and have yet to get an order wrong. Thumbs up!

Good pizza. Crust was crisp. Sauce was very good not bitter like other places in the area and I swear I received it in less than 25 mins. I would order again and recommend this place if you’re looking for a good pizza.

At Gino’s I had the most surreal dining experience of my life, even stranger than the time I ordered a «large fry» and the waiter brought me a single enormous french fry. Last week I ordered two spinach calzones, because they’re very good there. The cook made one fresh on the spot; but, mishearing me, made only one. Then, rectifying the error, he made a second. When my friend and I cut open our calzones at home, one was stuffed entirely with cheese, the other entirely with spinach. Trying to figure out how this exact mistake was made will boggle my mind until the day I die. Still, I say: go, go to Gino’s and get a spinach calzone because they’re usually very good; just be sure to enter via the correct portal in the multiverse.

Great pizza had great ingredients and the crust must be crisp. It was all of that and great people.

Traditional NY pizza. Always good when I pick up, but the delivery has been iffy. Mozzarella sticks were fried into nothing. No cheese even oozing out, but forgiven by my tasty pizza! Best slice i’ve had so far in Brooklyn.

My buddy ordered from these guys via seamless and our order never came. When he called them the guy at Gino’s would not give him the time of day and started yelling at him. Terrible service, I can’t believe their rudeness.

One of the best pizzas we had on our NY trip, cheap too. Only paid $ 8 for 2 slices and a bottle of water. Small place so it’s an in and out pizza place.

Inexpensive. Friendly. Bright. Clean. Flavorless pizza. The staff here was very nice and helpful. They seem like good folks. The location is bright and quite clean, so the demerits are based purely on flavor. The pizza on the other hand… it is an experience in mediocrity. The Sicillian style was a bland dough that reminded me of lunchroom pizza. Sure, it was filling and not expensive, but most slice shops can do this. I had a vegetable pizza – also very plain. The slice was very sparsely populated with vegetables, had very little sauce, and was generally underwhelming. Maybe there is hope in their calzones per other Unilocalers…

Delicious, reliable, standard pizza. This is our family’s regular Tuesday-night pizza delivery place for a reason. Plus, they’re on Seamless and delivery is always prompt and friendly.

This place has great pizza. Definitely worth the walk from Barclays before a game. The pizza was perfectly cooked. I got a fresh slice which made this place ten times better. The bottom of the pizza was nice and crunchy. There was a generous amount of cheese and the cheese was stringy. Just typing about this pizza makes me want another slice.

A filling, solid slice before the Nets game. Crust is thicker than most. Interesting place to people-watch… seems like the type of place where drug deals happen in the bathroom. Nice guys behind the counter!

One of the better pizza slices I’ve had in a long time. Gino’s has some pretty good pizza. I got 2 regular slices and they were great. The slices were big, so it can fill you up. The pizza were fresh. It wasn’t too oily. It wasn’t salty. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The crust was just right as well. A nice soft crust. Just good quality and tasty slices for lunch. $ 2.50 per regular slice. I remember when slices were $ 1.25 back in my high school days.
