Delicious selection of kosher food. Lunch specials are $ 9.99 with choice of chicken and two sides. Service is friendly and helpful. It’s no more expensive than your local kosher market but the food is delicious, fresh, and tastes vibrant. They accept credit cards as well which is a plus

The food is not so good or fresh, the service is also not so good. The workers are not helpful and rude, the owners are even worse then the worker, not to mention arrogant and unpleasant. The prices are beyond expensive and totally not worth it. The place and people working there are not clean. Unless your starving to death don’t go in there.

I was really sick a few weeks back and had no energy to make food for Shabbat so my husband picked up everything we needed from Gourmet On J. I was so impressed. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, nothing was too greasy as can happen with take out sometimes. We had fish, salads, chicken soup, kugels and dessert. It was way better than I expected.
We’ve even been back a few times since then for their yummy cookies and kugels. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re hosting a meal and need a few extra items, or the whole meal.

So I placed a special order to bring to my parents’ house for the holiday. When I went to pick up my food the staff was friendly and my order had already been packaged for me. When I arrived at my final destination, it turned out some of the food I ordered was missing from the bags. I couldn’t very well call them on a holiday to complain and I couldn’t go back and get the missing pieces because I was already 2 hours away. My family was pleased with the food that arrived but slightly irked that there was stuff missing from our order. It’s not cheap here.
