A solid Bangladeshi restaurant with decent variety of foods. Place is usually not too busy and the service is efficient. Conveniently located right off the last spot on the G train.

Great Indian Food… Great taste, good pricing, good service… Delish. Ask for Khair and ull get a friendly smile with an extra special something.

This rating is based purely on both the flattish triangular and chunky prism shaped Samosas. Green House, located just above the F train, does a brisk takeout business, can’t say I’ll ever be dining in or have the desire to(never seen a female in the place and it just doesn’t look appealing) but the takeout(seems) good, quick and cheap. I often buy the Samosas which if you get when they’ve been freshly cooked are excellent. The ones in filo pastry are meat and the larger ones veggie(potato and bean) with just the right touch of spice, ingredients and outer crispiness. I’d say they’re on par with the fantastic Curry Puffs from Sanur(on Pell St). I’m totally hooked and always take them to friend’s gatherings and pot lucks. Ask for the green sauce(which they’ll give you on the side) — I eat them without sauce or condiments, they’re perfect on their own and at a buck each what’s not to love.

The food tastes pretty decent and the price seems fair, although I was in utter pain for 3 days because I had food poisoning.

It pains me to write this review because the food here is quite good and definitely a bargain. I have been here many times usually just getting the food on display at the front of the restaurant. Yesterday I went in there to get dinner and as I was ordering my food I saw a nice cockroach run right across the register which is very close to where the food is. This made my stomach turn a bit and question how clean the place is. I know the restaurant used to be under a different name and then closed down for a week or so to open as Green House. However, the staff and food was the same as before. They probably had so many health violations that they had to close down and change names. Anyway, I don’t think I will be going back and don’t want others to get sick from eating here.

Guy answered yes when I asked him if the beef curry was warm. Only to find out when I got home that all the meat was frozen. What are they doing? No real hot plates and just throwing everything in the freezer each night? I hope I don’t get poisoned.

The food was pretty good. Haleem and a goat curry, lots of bone-in chunks of meat, fat and connective tissue. The service was poor. They were out of a lot of things on the menu, which is fine. Delivery took 75 minutes, which is alright. They forgot 2 – 3 items, which is shitty. They told me to call tomorrow because it was too late to send more food out with an hour left before they closed, which was also not great. All of which is pretty forgivable taken alone, but in total the food wasn’t worth the hassle.
