Established in 2013.
Launch our pilot at Smorgasburg. The crowd has embraced the «pa amb tomàquet «sandwich concept originating from Barcelona.
Upon arriving to New York from Barcelona, we found that the people here would appreciate good Mediterranean, easy to eat food. This is our inspiration for bringing our sandwiches to you.
Cut a fresh, ripe, juicy tomato in half, spread generously over fresh baked bread, drizzle with olive oil then top with only the best Mediterranean sandwich ingredient– jamón ibérico, manchego cheese, anchovies…

Business Owner
Luis & Almudena have spent their lives traveling the world. Each destination was an adventure of diving into authentic foods and flavors. It’s their dream to bring to New York their own taste of home, pa amb tomàquet.
Before making the leap into HamÓn, Luís specialized in tourism marketing. Work took him to over 40 countries to develop and implement sustainable tourism projects. Cosmopolitan and well-travelled, Luis still calls Barcelona home and misses the tastes of traditional Mediterranean cooking. Wherever he sits down for a meal, he sneaks in a request for bread and a red, ripe tomatoe with a dash of olive oil, making sure he is never without his pa amb tomàquet.
Almudena is a seasoned television journalist who has work for many years as a reporter in war-stricken regions and as special correspondent. After having experienced and tasted the foods on five different continents, she shamelessly admits that she could only be satiated by jamón ibérico and Manchego chee
