Harbor Motor Inn

So I put my money in the vending machine and it took it without giving me the candy that I wanted so I told the lady Maria working there and she told me there was nothing she couldn’t do anything about it. She was wrong because I came here before and the lady gave me back what the vending machine ate. She was rude and then the security guard Joseph wanted to interfere. He didn’t want to give me his name but then he did. They were wrong and totally rude.

I must say for a motel to have king bed is impressive. It is not bad motel. no swimming pool, They got lots of parking space. They tend to get no rooms for overnight.

I can never get overnight rooms. They make money by giving short stays rooms. Customer service is very bad. Receptionist lady’s all of them very rude. They misbehaves with the guests. I have experienced it lot of times. They even make us wait when we don’t give tips. When you offer tip they give us rooms right away!

What more can I say, daughter, kids and husband arrived late last Sat. nite and went to the desk. No room at the inn. BUT after a well placed call to Ann she came through as usual and all worked out great. It was inconvenient for the staff but after a quick and good clean up a family room was readied and all slept well. Thanks to Ann and the staff for help to avoid a catastrophe. I just can’t say enough nice things about this inn, pricing, helpful staff what more can we want.

I had a good stay at Harbor Motor Inn. They make a short stay feel very hospitable. The rates are fabulous and very accommodating. A weeknight will cost you less than 100 a night and a weekend is around 108. No where in Brooklyn will you find these prices. I’d definitely come back here next time I need a place to stay for a night or two.

This place is not so bad I paid $ 91 for a overnight stay but seems they have good deals for hourly rates !! Judging from other Unilocalers I was skiptical but… The parking lot is huge ! Booked my room for overnight which usually stays on the second floor (no elevators) first floor is usually for the people that just want to boom boom and get out! The staff was okay I really like the vending machines of snacks. On to the room. It really smell Smokey but theirs a TV with mainly local and porn channels, dressers with lamps no overhead light! Huge bathroom but needed some updates. Over for $ 91 bucks overnight stay I would say book it ! Only honest downfall is you have to carry your bags from the parking to the front because the back door closes at 8pm accept cash + credit just walk with some frebreeze

Very shady place with hourly rates. Not the kind of place I was looking for at all. The pillows are some sort of stuffing. Who can’t afford real pillows???

Okay so I gave this place a decent rating before, but now there have been a lot of things that changed or didn’t realize before. Now I begin to wonder if they even change the blankets, sheets and vacuum the place because I looked under the back of the bed and saw dust, bobby pins, hair clips and other trash.
When I see them going around cleaning the room, I feel like I don’t see them changing the sheets or blankets. I hope to God they do. I also found someone else’s hair in the bath tube drain which was pretty gross.
On top of that, the people that work at the desk are kind of rude. And FINALLY, I would love to say that they should really have more non-​smoking rooms than smoking rooms. As a matter a fact, they never seem to have non-​smoking rooms available and I’ve seen people walk in and out this place (I’m one of them) that want one that doesn’t smell like cigarettes. I hate the smell of the smoking rooms because they give me VERY bad allergies but they are the only ones available. I always thought it was better to help smokers kick their habit, but apparently not in this case.
Side note: They stopped having WiFi access.

Used to have a friend I’d meet here for some serious fun. This place definitely gets the job done, and at as reasonable a price as you can expect in NYC. The rooms aren’t pristine to be sure, but they are regularly cleaned and aren’t disgusting either.
