I would like to dedicate this review as a forewarning to those future patrons of this establishment…
There are roaches and flies pestering throughout this business operation!!!
I’ve walked by this place on numerous occasions and have found roaches crawling on the donuts displayed in the front of the store. In addition, the restaurant /​donut shop has more flies than diners during the summer months. I’m not sure if the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene has gotten a hold of inspecting this operation but how can they pass with all of the roaches crawling in this place!!!
In addition, the donut shop hasn’t been renovated since it first opened, when my grandfather was 10 years old.
Please avoid at all costs. I will admit that I used to eat donuts at this place as a kid (when it was $ 0.50 for a donut). Heck, I’ll even go as far as to say the donuts were actually REALLY GOOD. But that was when the establishment was under its original management. Since the new owners have taken over, the business has taken a major dive.
If the establishment can get their act together, I’ll gladly write an updated review, but for now, no way, no how!!!
