Like the other reviewer, who I’m not sure I trust as these one review/no friends types are a red flag to me, I had a pretty positive experience at this hole in the wall around the corner from my new apartment. I called up and was told I could come immediately, so seems like they have a decent amount of therapists ready to grind. I told them I’d be there in a half hour and when I arrived was immediately greeted and escorted to a small room with a pretty comfortable table and a nice warm towel to pull over myself. Upon settling in I chose the one hour massage, was asked if I wanted hard or medium pressure, and I chose hard. I will say that she definitely went for it, but was very consciencous of when I was squirming a bit and would ask if the pressure was okay. Definitely a big plus. They play random chinese music and the beds are pretty comfortable, you can heard what’s going on in the other ‘rooms’ but for the most part its not very distracting when you have a woman standing on the table putting her whole forearm on your spine. There are two basic types of massages I’ve gotten: A) A serious sports athlete type massage where they find knots and work them out in a torturous but ultimately satisfying manner B) Chinese massages where they use a lot of pressure and definitely work some pressure points, but its less immediately satisfying. This was definitely in the B category. I would say that Asia Tui Na in midtown is a good deal better than here, but for the price and convenience, this was a solid second choice and I think I’ll be back. Finally, after the massage they kinda rub your back down with hot towels and it feels awesome. I wish I could give this place 3.5 stars. Oh yeah, and cash only.
