King Fish Aquarium & Pet Supply

They had a nice selection of corals and anemones. A very nice selection of freshwater fish, and a couple of saltwater species too. They had a ton of vibrant «fancy» guppies in tanks, definitely going to head back for some later on. Another tank had a ton of young birchirs, that was labeled as eels. The prices were beyond cheap, considering what I’ve seen them go for elsewhere! Overall the prices were fair, with a few deals here-​and-​there. My only complaint was their selection of bettas. They had bettas in these little square chambers with very low water, like not even an inch, and bright colored LEDs shining into them from the side/​rear of the tank. There was at least 1 – 2 dead ones in the selection. Everything else was fine, although the aisles were a bit cramped, so be careful walking into the store, lest you break something. They also had a ton of fish supplies, from the floor to the ceiling!

I was there on Sunday and what a scary place. It’s small and you are lucky if you can even maneuver through the aisle. I asked for tank dividers for a 5 gallon tank and this lady washed two scratched up and used dividers and handed it to me. I asked her the price she said $ 9.00. Why would I pay $ 9.00 for used and just washed dividers? I told her I don’t think so and then she show me the kind you could cut up yourself. I told her no thanks and then saw these poor dying marine fish in this styrofoam box with only an inch of water that’s when I know I had to get out of there. What a depressing place this is, I don’t know about dedication to fresh and saltwater fish but this place is horrific and if giving sick or dying fish only an inch of water and leaving them out with the other tanks is dedication then it’s time to show some mercy and find a humane way to end their stuffing.
I would like to give this place no star for their treatment of the sick and dying fish.

They have a good selection of fish here, but Ive never bought any. Ive always been discouraged by the fact that they sell painted fish, fish painting is done by injecting color into the fish w a hypodermic needle, obv. this is hazardous to the fish. Im apprehensive about buying from ppl im not sure really care or know about their fishs’ welfare.
Ive come here a few times for supplies, but always end up walking out empty handed. The staff is friendly, but communication is difficult — impossible so I dont get the help I need.

The prices are very fair and some things can be considered «cheap». The selection is fairly diverse and the fish are very in good conditions for the most part. A solid aquarium store overall.

The fish here are healthy. Prices are fair in general. Next time when you buy fish ask for a discount when you buy more than 4 fish. They are very nice, no problem in giving discount to its customers.
