We specialize in conservative and surgical care of diseases and conditions of the musculoskeletal system. This covers a wide range of conditions both acute and chronic. Examples of conditions we treat include sprains, strains, fractures, tendonitis, ligament and cartilage injury, tendon tears, bursitis and arthritis. These can be conditions which arise out of an accident (including workplace injuries), trauma, sports as well as pain which was been present chronically (including back and neck pain). We have a pain management physician as well as podiatrist on site.

History

Established in 1985.

Kings Highway Orthopedic Associates was founded by Drs. Irwin Nelson, Irwin Miller and Robert Copulsky and have been serving south Brooklyn since then. Although our patients come from Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island and New Jersey, the majority of our patients are from Midwood, Brighton Beach, Sheepshead Bay, Gravesend, Mill Basin, Bergen Beach, and the surrounding areas.

Since its founding, Drs. Nelson and Miller have retired. Drs. Todd Soifer and Daniel Morgan joined in the mid 90’s. Drs. Japreet Sekhon, Josh Reimer (pain management) and David Simon (podiatry) joined in the late 2000’s.
