Stopped by here for brunch on a Saturday morning. Huevos rancheros and breakfast enchiladas were AMAZING. Best green chili sauce I’ve ever had. I was a little doubtful that they made their own baked goods because they looked so uniform and perfect, but once I saw a tray of apple turnovers coming out of the oven I changed my tune. Bought a very delicious chocolate chip cookie. Very kind, wonderful staff. Same people behind «Tacos el Catrin» off of Church ave. FYI, La Damas’s Cookies also serves brunch/​lunch/​dinner food in addition to sweets.

I asked about the cupcakes and somehow the guy just said ‘its muffin with vanilla OR cream cheese frosting’. So its not a cupcake! Disappointing indeed.
Its okay, a little stale for ‘we made it fresh today’ kinda muffin.

Stopped by again the other night and had a Nutella cupcake… It tasted stale and not like Nutella at all. Very disappointed. Nice people that work there though.
