I’ve lived in Bushwick my entire life. I’ve always had my little fruit and veggie spots but this is my Holy Grail. La Finca has your standard issue Puerto Rican/Dominican vegetable needs: cilantro, chayote, garlic, yuca, platanos, guineos, onions, peppers, spices, etc and much more. They also have an increasingly growing selection of Mexican goods. But if you want your real deal Mexican foods got to the little Mexican stores that pepper Broadway Avenue. But why? why am I writing this review. You can get fruits and veggies everywhere? WRONG! This the only place in a 10 block radius where you can get FRESH, CHEAP and YUMMY vegetables. C-town veggies quality sucks, food bazaar(on myrtle and broadway) is hit or miss and overpriced and Mr. Kiwi is WAYTOOEXPENSIVE! La Finca has a small but fresh and inexpensive selection of fruits and veggies. Believe the hype – the price and quality really is that good. You don’t need fancy packaging and store décor to see, feel and taste quality. Don’t believe me… after you drop off your package at the post office come by La Finca. I guarantee you will leave with a bag of groceries.

There are a ton of these types of little produce stores in Williamsburg, but I believe this spot has the best prices, hands down! I try to come here on the weekends to stock up for the week. In addition to produce, there is a very nice selection of herbs/spices inside the store that seem to be freshly bagged. And I completely agree with previous poster about this being a pleasant place to go to after having to go to the hell-hole post office next door. Hate that place!

I have lived here in Williamsburg for years and have take La Finca for granted. Assuming it will always be there with it’s great prices. Don’t know when they opened but I am glad they are there. The prices are great and there is always something new to try. Love them and I promise you the reviews about the prices are no exaggeration they are that good.

I found my #1 favorite place to buy fruits, vegetables and spices. Very fresh and low prices, lower than the big supermarket’s prices.

I often come here after I hit the post office. After all the crap you get to deal with in USPS, I always need fresh fruit and veggies:) They have almost everything priced conveniently(3 cucumbers = $ 1) so you won’t wait for a long time for them to weigh things. Variety is not huge, but prices are low. Me gusta! P. S. They take cash or debit cards but not credit cards. No se por que.

I am not sure how this places manages to sell the freshest fruit and veggies for half the price of food bazaar! Some of the deals I’ve scored, 3bags of garlic for a dollar. 10 apples for 1, bag of jalapeños for 50 cents. Downside, this place is always packed, with very little wiggle room. Huge upside! They take debit cards with no minimum!
