History

Established in 1979.

Rodney P. Leibowitz, DDS graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in 1977 and has been in private practice in his Brooklyn neighborhood since completing a one year general practice residency program from Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1978. Dr. Leibowitz is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society and a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Leibowitz’s skills in cosmetic dentistry have allowed patients to achieve a beautiful smile in a very short time. He is committed to providing the best quality care for his patients. His main focus is his patient’s needs and well being. His goal is to build long-​term relationships between the staff and patients so that the practice can provide qulaity services the family can afford in a health friendly environment. Dr. Leibowitz is also an Honorary Police Surgeon for the New York State Police Department, New York City Fire Department and an active member of NDMS (National Disaster Medical Service), a branch of the Department of Health and Human Services for the federal government.

I am writing this letter to thank you as well as the dental assistants, and receptionists for the excellent care I received at Brooklyn Mini Dental Implant Center.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation, Just a few words to thank you and your team for their professionalism, dedication, care and enthusiasm during my recent cosmetic dental treatment at your surgery. I listened to all of your advice and recommendations and knew you were right. I just needed a little more reassurance and that’s what you gave me.
The procedure went very smoothly. Your personal attention to your patients, your skill and professionalism, in my view, are some of the outstanding traits that put you far above other dental practitioners. I also would like to mention that you have a wonderful staff. All your assistants are very friendly, efficient and professional. I am very lucky to have you as my dental specialist.
I can now relax when I smile without the self conscious feeling that I must not show my teeth. My new found confidence and enhanced self esteem makes me smile at every opportunity. I have been complimented on my new teeth by everyone I come into contact with. I would recommend anyone to undergo the transformation, the patient care is second to none. Lets face it, nobody wants to visit the dentist office. But, if you have to, there’s no place I’d rather go to. The office is clean and cheerful. Always decorated for each and every holiday. There is a TV in every room. The desk staff is very friendly and helpful. They have the latest equipment. The doctors take priority in making you comfortable. Before any procedure Dr. Leibowitz will go over all of your options and explain each one, answering any question you may have so that you are confident in your choice. The dental work is top notch. Dr. Leibowitz has been my dentist since 1977 because, frankly, I will not trust anyone else. Now that I live in NJ, I drive 90 miles round trip to go there.

I’ve been going to Dr Leibowitz for years now, even after I moved out of the neighborhood because having a great dentist is just as important as a great personal physician and car mechanic in my opinion. His office is clean and good staff is friendly and accommodating. He did a fantastic job reshaping my teeth with zirconia crowns, basically making me want to smile now and show off my pearly whites. I don’t listen to ignorant negative reviews especially from people who just aim to slander one’s reputation for whatever personal reason. I am the type of person who needs to experience something for myself and make my own critique. Dr Leibowitz never steered me wrong and continues to make me laugh with his comedic personality.

I’m not sure that I am even reviewing the same dentist that some of these other people are talking negatively about…
Dr Leibowitz is not an amazing dentist, he is an amazing person foremost. I can speak for myself, my partner, and my sister who have all had work done by him. He truly cares about his patients and makes every effort to make some procedures as painless as possible. His staff are so friendly and the entire office makes you feel welcomed.
I went to him with a million dental problems and between him and Dr George they have given me the ability to speak and smile with confidence. When I talk about my dentist I absolutely sound like I’m obsessed (or so my friends say) but he knew being able to speak and smile meant the world to me, and he delivered.

Stay away from this dentist at all costs or it will cost you BIG TIME.
He tries to get you to take his shady credit companies as soon as
you get into the dental chair. He gets a money transfer to his account
and when you decide not to have the work done, he refuses to pay
the credit company back. It is like getting stuck up without a gun.

Dr. Leibowitz (aka Rodney) is the most competent and effective dentist\ i have ever encountered. He is a caring and committed partner in my dental care as time passes and requirements/​conditions change.
My entire family relies on the hygienists, dentists, orthodontists, and insurance specialists comprising Dr. Leibowitz’s staff. We have complete confidence in their professionalism and considerate approach to health-​care.
