Leiter Property Management

I am the president of my condo board in Williamsburg. After having nothing but problems with our former management company, I reached out to Leiter and they stood out from the rest, so I hired them to manage our building. I am also a real estate broker and have done deals in their buildings and was always happy with their service as a broker. I have worked with landlords in 3 of their condo buildings and they all raved about Leiter. When I took them on, David Leiter, who owns the company personally came to my building and they gave us a very competitive rate, working with them and a super they provided us. Leiter is super responsive, which is the way I run my own business. They get things done immediately too and provide great service along with excellent referrals when a professional is needed. Our property manager, Carl is great too. It has only been a few months so far, but I am very impressed and would highly recommend them.

Leiter is the property manager for our building. They have done a fantastic job. Their staff is amazing and if I ever have an issue they get back to me right away.
They also try to save the owners money by giving us good people to work with such as plumbers and electricians.

I’ve been working with Leiter property management for a few years and only recently had the opportunity to work with them to help wtih a repair effort in a rental unit. Maria and their staff were fantastic; very responsive, helped look out for our best interests to find the best solution for the problem at hand and very trustworthy. It’s nice to know they’re available as a resources when we need something critical done quickly.

We rented out our apartment with Leiter and asked them to manage the rental for the period of the lease. They were great, well organized, always there to help and on top of every issue. They took a very balanced position with all tenant issues, which I respected as it kept us honest and ensured that the all were treated fairly. I would recommend them to any owners or tenants.

I didn’t seek Leiter Realty Group out, but responded to an ad on craigslist for an apartment that was incredible. I met Jason Smircich, and from start to finish, he was truly helpful in securing the apartment for us, and I was so happy that he was the person on the other end of the listing. Jason is incredibly professional, patient, kind and compassionate. He fought really hard to get us the apartment, and it wasn’t easy, there were other people looking at the place, and I honestly feel like we wouldn’t be were we are, without him. We didn’t intentionally set out to use Leiter or Jason, but I can firmly say that I will always go to them in the future, and recommend Jason to anyone I can.

I had a wonderful experience with Leiter Realty! I worked directly with Sam Combs and he found the perfect place for me. Before showing me anything, he asked pertinent questions relevant to NYC living…“give me your dream apartment” and «give me what you’re willing to compromise on.» There was no skirting any issues, no empty promises. He was very up front about the reality of apartment hunting and what is available. Well, I ended up getting it all! Sam also advocated on the items I couldn’t compromise on and it turned into a win win for everyone, me, Leiter and the landlord.
At the office, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. It just felt like a close knit group who took care of each other.

I called Leiter Realty on a whim after passing their sign outside of what looked to be a very nice building in Williamsburg. The broker that answered, Sam Combs, was friendly and asked all the right questions about what type of apartment I was looking for. He said that he would call back in an hour, which he did (highly unusual in the apartment search!), and immediately took to me see an amazing apartment in Greenpoint at a great price.
I ended up not being able to take the apartment because I was offered a job with free rent as a perk, but my former potential room mate ended up taking the apartment himself. Throughout the whole process, Sam was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, flexible, and understanding. Apartment hunting in New York is a hellish process, and Sam and Leiter Realty were truly a breath of fresh air. He is definitely who I will call first when I’m on the hunt again!
