Levi Stolove Photography

What can I say about Levi that hasn’t already been said by every other person that has had the pleasure of him photographing their wedding or other special time in their life? My husband and I found Levi through a little bit of hardcore google searching for the best photographers in the NYC area. He was on a list of about 20 and after going through all of their portfolios on their websites, we narrowed our search down to 5 photographers — all of whose work slightly varied and we liked for different reasons. My husband went out and met with all 5 and then narrowed it down to 2 for me. I actually met with Levi via Skype due to my work hours and I can say that from the first minute I felt his warmth come through my computer screen. He has this really calming nature about him that just makes you relax and feel comfortable, which is refreshing for someone high strung like me! Needless to say, after our Skype session I consulted my husband (then fiancé) and we decided that we would like Levi to photograph our wedding! We arranged for engagement photos a few months later and when we met Levi in person (well, when I met him), he was everything I expected and more. He is patient and he is a consummate professional. Those photos came out amazing and made me even more excited to see what he would do on our wedding day.
The day of our wedding Levi arrived to photograph me in my location and someone else on his team for my husband (I apologize, her name escapes me, but her photos are amazing too — I only know this because I saw Levi in the background of some of the outtakes!). He arrived perfectly on time and he was so cool and relaxed. I was a nervous wreck and so he recommended I have a drink… which help ease my apparant frozen face! We got married in the beginning of April when the trees are still barren and Levi still managed to get some beautiful outdoor shots, where you wouldn’t even think it was kind of an ugly day (same goes for our engagement photos, in fact). Overall, Levi captured so many great moments that we had a little of trouble picking the photos we wanted to appear in our album and are planning on making smaller ablums dedicated to just us, the party and family. He really gives you sooooo many photos, it will blow your mind.
I will say that the one thing that struck my husband and I immediately about his photos was how Levi managed to capture emotion on camera in almost all of his shots. That is something really important to us and now looking back on our own photos we can re-​live the day over and over thanks to his work.
We have zero regrets for hiring Levi to photograph our wedding. I would 1,000% recommend him to anyone looking for a top-​notch and extremely talented wedding photographer.

Over the years, Levi has become our go-​to photographer for any important family event. I’m so glad we continued the tradition and chose him to photograph our wedding. Watching Levi at work is awesome — his energy level is high, his passion is contagious, and he always seems to be in the right spot at the right time. Whenever I noticed a special moment during my wedding day, he was undoubtedly right there with his camera. Levi’s ability to capture these tender moments is the main reason I chose him as our photographer. We will cherish these memories forever. Thank you for everything, Levi!!!

Levi was brilliant — exceeded all expectations — top class service and top class photos.
He was incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all our (very many!) questions before booking. On the day, he was so friendly and natural he managed to put everyone at ease (even one who hates being photographed — the groom!) and to take the most wonderful photos of us all.

When we set out to find a photographer for our engagement photos, we were thrilled to find someone who was genuinely interested in understanding us as a couple and able to bring it to life in front of the camera. During our shoot, Levi’s positive energy, confidence and professionalism immediately put us at ease and allowed us to have so much fun. During the shoot we would get lost in the moment and forget there was a camera on us. But Levi was close by and he never missed a moment! The photos are amazing!
