Very fun place. The bartenders are really nice, the pickle backs are delicious and they have pool which doesn’t have too long of a wait. I enjoy going there.

Great bar that understands the value of a grimy dive bar. Feels awesome to get drunk there. Hope it sticks around a long long time!!!

Decent bar. Music always too loud. Kind of a crap shoot when it comes to service. I’ve had a bartender get extremely rude with me because he felt I was tipping poorly. Maybe I was, but this was because they were not accepting cards for some reason(they usually do) and the atm wasn’t working. So I was trying to make it work.(Tipping $ 1 a drink, he wanted $ 2 a drink, threatened to throw me out LOL). He was so rude I had to speak to the manager. Manager was nice, but clearly inexperienced with handling this type of situation. He immediately sided with the bartender before I could finish explaining what happened. He felt bad later, hence the free drinks we got 10 minutes later. I’ll go back because its so close to my house, but not first choice.

I came here with some friends, and had a great experience. This is an alternative choice to the standard top-100 billboard bar, with classic songs, mostly rock, played at a decent/high volume in the background. You can easily chat with a person next to you, not so easy in a group. The ambiance was cool, nice people, delicious beers(not big variety though) and a pool table. The bar was crowded and very enjoyable. Come and enjoy! Downside they accepted cash only.

Lone Wolf is like the scenery of a Red Fang video(Blood Like Cream) but in Bushwick instead of Portland. There is no lack of beards, tattoos and attitude at this dingy bar. I like to come here with my brother since, he’s a huge fan of pool. This place also has a pinball machine of a nerd being converted to a cool ladies’ man. I think he was cooler as a nerd but that’s just my opinion. There is also a photo booth which is a huge plus in my book… it only takes cards and it’s $ 5 so that’s kinda not perfect but at least there’s an option. Not much for food here. I might partake with a bag of kettle chips. There’s always the drink«special» meaning shot and a beer and for me that means tequila and Tecate which has been my «special» of choice since, relocating to Bushwick. I was here a couple weeks ago and met a funny dancer named Jo and his sister. And by dancer I mean, he wore a onsie outfit and strutted his stuff to the music. People are super chatty here. I definitely keep this bar in rotation. Warning: NOAC… only a sad little fan that blows to one spot at the bar.

Lone Wolf sits in the corner of Broadway in ‘Bush-Sty.’ It’s really nothing special, but a bar with plenty of room to stand, sit and play pool. Drink-wise, it’s great because it’s inexpensive. The place is loud and smelly, but it’s a fun place in the neighborhood to kick back, unwind, and hangout with friends.

This is just down the road and I can already sense that this will be our«lets just grab a beer out» bar. Nice atmosphere, friendly bartenders and good, but not great, beers on tap.

As someone who works in the customer service industry and works graveyard shift, I always think twice before giving a bad review, I am aware that things happen, I understand if you’re having an off day, or just tired things happen but I never been treated so poorly in my life. I work two jobs and it was my day off so I told my friend to come over and let have drinks at this place by my house called the lone wolf she agreed and came over, we got there and open a tab. the bartenders were very nice and attentive, but there these drunk white guys hitting on us asking us to dance with them we respectively declined and continued on with our night. Later on my friend went to the bathroom and I dozed off, I work two jobs and I had four rounds of drinks, the same guys that I refused to dance with went and told security and he was kicking me out, for dozing while my friend went to the bathroom, he treated me like I started a bar fight he wouldn’t let me get my card or anything. My friend came had to my card. When my friend went to get my card the bartender apologized and charged us the minimum amount. My two stars are for the bartenders they’re awesome and I wish I could’ve tipped you guys however I’ll never stepped foot in this establishment again. If your security guard can’t assess a situation and handle it rationally then he should be fired

I never get the full Lone Wolf experience because every time I go there something is wrong. Wether the bathroom is broken, they just ran out of whatever I ordered or I sit on a wet chair… The music/DJ is great and I have been to one of their burlesque shows that was very entertaining. There is always a nice crowd and the bartenders are very friendly, they just need to tie up the loose ends! I gave it three stars because no matter what I always have a good time and the ambiance is great.

I live right across the street, so this spot has become the extension of my living room. It’s loud, it’s grimy as hell, it’s cheap, it’s way cooler than a place I should be hanging out at, but my love for LW is all-encompassing and grandiose.

Fun punk bar. Chill low light ambiance. Good prices on booze. Staff is pretty friendly. I come here pretty regularly its a great place to hang out and grab a shot and a beer. Never tried the food. But you dont come here to eat. you come here to have a good time and get wasted. Would recommend. Awesome neighborhood spot fits the area perfectly.

My friends are always late whenever we go out anywhere, so during my regular waiting session, I popped into Lone Wolf. It’s around 9PM on a weekday, not crazy packed, and the lights were down low, just like I like it. There’s a few people playing pool in the back, but everything else feels intimate. I was only in there for 20 minutes or so, but it definitely took the edge off of my annoyance of waiting for my latecomer friends. The bartender was super cute and friendly(the one with the thigh piece!) and she kept the drinks coming, making the drinks strong, just like I like them. It was just everything that I needed. I’ll definitely be back to check out the scene when it’s busier. Nice little spot.

This place is nothing special for people looking for a nice place to go. However, it is as as low as dive bars get, which I love. It feels like a poorly renevated VFW. Drinks are cheap, they have a pool table and friendly drunk bartenders. For the location, it is prime since there is no where to go besides this place. It’s a good place to just get hammered and hope you find your way home. I would give this place a, long-work-week-something-terrible-happened-i-need-to-get-drunk rating.

It’s very cheap and only a little walk from my apartment sooooo! I expected the crowd to be a little more diverse on a Wednesday night but it was mostly young flannels. If you know what I mean. The bar seats were all filled which I was not expecting either. The music selection was very special and very satisfying. This place is definitely my jam.

Very loud but it makes playing pool more fun. Dont feel like I could bring someone here to figure out who they are but instead, bring close friends and shoot the shit in this dive bar under the J train overpass.

Good bar, cheap drinks, laid back crowd. Great heavy jams but not so loud I have to scream to be heard by my pals. Hipstery but not pretentious.

Awooooooooooooo I am pretty much a werewolf so I have high standards for bars and venues that reference wolves. We have a reputation to protect after all. This place is great, and allows dogs(lesser wolves). Everyone is pretty chill, the bartenders are not pretentious like the hipster too kewl for skewl crowd that permeates Bushwick. They have cheap drink /shot combos for when it’s cold as teats outside and you want to get cozy. It’s not really wolf themed, which is great for me because that would be too campy(like duckduck has ducks all over but that’s fine, they’re ducks not wolves I don’t care about ducks except for maybe eating them). You should go whether you’re a lone wolf or I dunno a pack of wolves, whatever that’s called. A herd. A gaggle? of wolves. But don’t go if you’re allergic to dogs.

Thought it was going to be a more rock crowd. Loud rap music and very dark. Cheap drinks $ 5 beer and shot. $ 5 whiskey and coke. Not really our scene but seemed like a decent place if that’s your style.
