As myself and family have reduced the amount of Chinese food we order, this restaurant was one of the only places we’d order from. They always made our wings well done and crispy; rice always appeared fresh and always gave the perfect amount of soup for my wontons. This, all of a sudden, became a lie. We’ve ordered food twice since the year started and had to throw away more than half of the dish. The wings weren’t crispy, whatsoever; for that matter they weren’t even thoroughly cooked. In addition, the specifics of our lo mein and fried rice, weren’t completed. Very disappointing!!!

My go to Chinese place in the area. It’s pretty good, and delivery is fast. You can watch them cook the food since it’s an open kitchen. Good shrimp and broccoli.

Having been disappointed countless times by the many chinese delivery in the area, I was surprised by this place. I learned to never order anything complicated from these places. Just get basics and be happy if it sits well. Ordered beef and broccoli, spare ribs and pork lo mien. Can’t get any more basic than that. The spare ribs and pork lo mein were good but the beef and broccoli was just ok. Like so many of these storefront take out places, their sauces are not really up to par. The sauce on the beef and broccoli was too thin and gave it a lacking feeling. I think judging by the spare ribs and roast pork lo mien, its a step up from the rest of the greasy chinese takeout but wish a restaurant quality place would open nearby.

This place is clean & the food is consistently good & fresh. You can watch your meal being cooked as there is no glass partition. Prices are reasonable and service is good. You can take out and there are seats for dine-in. The shrimp and broccoli is a good pick as is the Mei fun. The chicken wings are the best I’ve had in BK. I’ve been going to this place since they opened up at least 10 years ago giving Hot Wok competition and the food has been consistently good and definitely cleaner. I don’t eat Chinese take-out from any place else.

Besides the amusing name, there’s nothing at all noteworthy about Long Won. It’s basic Chinese takeout with some Latino items such as plantains on the menu. When I’m in Canarsie it’s a safe place to order in from. I still haven’t gotten over the fact that Grabstein’s is gone and Long Won is here… boo hoo.
