I’ve been a Regular at Los limones, they have to be the best Bodega in the area. great selection of groceries and beers. the sandwiches are insane, just make sure when u order a sandwich that Brian is the one making it, he has a passion for making sandwiches and he won’t disappoint.

Best bodega ever, so fortunate to live on the same block. Amazing selection of everything from beer to cleaning supplies. Their food is delicious, great sandwiches with funny names. My favorites are the«drunk driver» and the«boring sandwich». Literally go here every day.

Every time I go I always find something that impresses me about this place. Clean, friendly, stocked, great beer variety and price, cheap everything and the food they make is fast, without complaint and made with love. Real gem of a spot.

My go-to Bushwick bodega. Breakfast sandwiches with bacon, egg, & pepper jack cheese with avocado for four bucks? Also an awesome selection of select beers you can’t find anywhere in the vicinity. Good guys that work there too.

Yes this bodega deserves 5 stars! My friend used to live around the corner and I’ve come here plentyyyyy of times and they have had everything and them some in there. Not your typical bodega either… you have everything from a great beer/hard cider selection to coconut water to organic bars and such if that’s your thing. Me? I’ve had everything from my munchies being fufilled in this spot to sandwiches. I have had my sandwich messed up like the other reviewer mentioned, but went back and the guy was incredibly friendly to replace it right away. My question to this guy is… if he has had this problem in the past why not be on top of them to make sure they are making it correct? Should someone have to do this? No, not at all, but damn boo, check your ish if you know it happens! In all reality, this bodega is off the hook because of the neighborhood changing with hipsters and such(love all ppl including hipsters) beause reality is. in the hood/low income areas you would NEVER find half these items in a typical bodega at all. With that being said, that’s why I love this bodega: You can find all your typical spanish findings here to yummy munchies to your organic seaweed chips and«good“food of the sort to bangin’ sandwiches in which I usually add avocodao too for an extra $ 1. lol. The guys here are SUPER friendly and nice. It gets packed because it’s a good spot(like every other type of good place in the city) and yes at times you will have to wait but when don’t you have to wait when it comes to anything good in life? If you are in the area and need to grab a good 6pack or need a quick bite to eat, stroll in here and I’m more than postive they will have something right up your alley.

The best beer selection for miles! Seriously, there’s no better place within walking distance, and I’d be hard pressed to find one within a 10-minute drive of Los Limones. With it’s lime-themed awning and its brightly lighten interior, this bodega is like a breath of fresh air for beer enthusiasts and something of an oasis for our little section of Bushwick. I’m a fan. Set one foot in here, and you will be, too. If I don’t feel like walking quite as far, there’s another bodega on Irving Avenue that’s run by a very nice lady. But that’s neither here nor there!

This place is a gem of a bodega. Clean, great selection, surprisingly good food(highly recommend the spicy spicy, as well as the hungry man), and quite friendly/helpful staff. And the craft beer selection. Fall is here, that means pumpkin brews, and they have not disappointed. Find myself always walking over to it(a handful of blocks away from my apt, even though there are bodegas on my corner) because of the above. In fact, as soon as I’m done typing this I’m walking over to get a few supplies. May it stay open until the end of time.

This is the only bodega for me(after 2+ years I still have never been to the mid-street bodega on this block). Good beer selection with a lot of rotating seasonal stuff on top of the standards.

Not bad, but they consistently screw up orders. Like, simple things. Bacon egg and cheese on a roll? Be prepared to open the wrapper to find warm bread with only eggs and one slice of cheese. This happens all the time, no matter the sandwich. An incredibly silly problem to have, and I feel silly complaining about it, but it happens all the time. It’s weird. They also take forever to make whatever you order. One of the slowest delis I’ve ever been to. How hard can that be? Seriously, guys — please pay attention to what’s being ordered and to what you’re doing. Good coffee though, and a pretty great selection of random whatever you want, and fairly priced. People are really nice too. It’s fiiiiiiine. It’s a deli, whatever, it’s fine. I shouldn’t even be writing this right now. I’m procrastinating on a deadline because life is inherently miserable and this is enough of a distraction to prevent me from maxing out my credit cards on ebay due to the erroneous thought that it could possibly help with my bitter ennui. Go order a chicken sandwich. It won’t be what you ordered but it’ll taste FINE.

Los Limones has an incredible selection of Craft Beer that seems to get a new selection every week, while keeping our favorites. The food is exceptional though it’s small and may be family run so you’ll have to wait a few minutes but waiting means fresh food. Their best menu item was the«La Quesedilla wrap» made during the spring of 2014, and they’ll still make it for you if you ask. The staff is incredible, the girl at the register is a sweetheart and Manny is super friendly. Even one of the older guys will grab something for you if it’s out of reach and stop mopping the floor so you can pass by. The shorter guy at the Deli is the best cook hands down. If he’s working when you order food you’re extra lucky, although the other cooks are quite good too. I judge a man not by the quality of most deli sandwiches(which are killer) but by his patience when making me the perfect grilled cheese to soothe my hangover.(The cheese is melty, the bread is buttery and lightly browned. You forget about how many Raging Bitches you drank last night.) This place seems to keep finding more space on their small shelves to carry things that I have looked for over the past few months including Lipton onion dip. They have Ben and Jerry’s deliveries but you have to go when they first get it to get your favorite kind(cookie dough!!). They also carry Kettle brand chips and the best kind is Honey Dijon. They should start a food truck and a restaurant with Dine-in seating it’s that good. I have not yet found a bodega that comes close to Los Limones. My friends in the neighborhood wait until they get to my apartment before they eat so they can get Los Limones. This neighborhood will be screwed(gentrification wise) the moment Los Limones gets seating.
