History

Established in 2010.

LP n’ Harmony is a place defined by its owners, its customers and its music. With over 20 years of bar experience and DJing in the NYC underground, LPH makes everyone feel at home. One of the novelties of the bar are the two pool tables present when you enter the unique establishment. Being the center of the APA Williamsburg division, these tables are maintained regularly and re-covered twice a year attracting friendly competition from the most skilled players in the area. On Fridays, NY Free Poker has their weekly poker night to play for points to qualify for a seat in the WPT in Vegas. The weekends bring a taste of old school meets new school house music. Depending on the night, you will hear the beats and different styles derived from Disco to Afro-beat house that inspire vibes which cannot be described in words. LPH is a haven for DJs who long for the times where they take people on a musical journey. Affordable drinks and a friendly vibe is how LPH is keeping it real in Brooklyn.

Meet the Business Owner

John C.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Williamsburg, John C. aka DJ Siren has been DJing in the NYC house scene for over 25 years. He met his wife and business partner, Jede, in Williamsburg at the first bar established by her on Grand Street, «Art Land» circa 2000. Since then, John and Jede have been pioneers in local businesses of Williamsburg. Their second endeavor was «Balanza Bar» on Lorimer Street where they hosted Williamsburg’s first burlesque show, «Ixion Burlesque», and the «Disgraceland Hook Squad», which jump started the body modification movement. John aka «Big Daddy», which is his pool nickname, single-handedly brought the APA league to all the local bars in Williamsburg, allowing for more business on the slower nights. Seeing people from all walks of life coming together in friendly competition brings John a sense of joy by establishing a sense of community in this transitioning neighborhood.
