Brooklyn Foot Doc also provides thorough examination and evaluation of diabetic foot conditions and involves the Circular Boot, a unique treatment for diabetic foot disease.

Business Owner

Dr. Perlstein is board certified in Podiatric Orthopedics and Wound Care. He also has special Laser training. He has treated over 30,000 patients since 1986. Dr. Perlstein is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and The New York State Medical Association. He also maintains membership in the American Diabetes Association as well as The American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Perlstein has orthopedic surgical privileges at two Brooklyn hospitals — Suny Downstate Hospital/​Long Island College Hospital as well as Maimonides Medical Center, where he trains residents in foot surgery
