Besides being overpriced and cash only, I wish I could redesign Milk and Pull because the layout is so whack! I wish the seating was in the front and everything was shifted to the back. The register should be in the back so the line can form along the wall, which is necessary because the place is always understaffed. I always feel bad whenever someone orders a bagel because the person doing register sometimes has to make it along with coffee drinks. Bagels are very hit or miss but the pastry and donut selection is on point. Variety café around the corner has better& cheaper coffee and a more pleasant atmosphere.

Over priced, weird décor, but decent coffee. The bagels are from bagel smith so they’re good. The one in ridgewood is a lot better.

small, cool and quick little coffee shop, just wish they accepted credit cards like their other location. All good — since they have an ATM in the back.

Okay. They are overpriced, trending with the neighborhood, and the bagels are very good but not excellent(the toaster could use some tuning), that said I’m glad they exist. The next good to great bagel is half a mile away. Beyond that the doughnuts are tasty and drinks well made. Super tight space but quaint in its way. Four stars.

I had a bagel! It was delicious! On par with my bagel standards. I sat here and studied for a while as well. And the pastries looked yummy.

cash only! but great baked goods and lattes. I like to stop here on the way to the dog park– it’s nice and close to Maria Hernandez.

I don’t really like Milk & Pull. I think cash only is annoying and I think their sandwiches are fair but not mind blowing. They do have soy options but you can definitely find better coffee and breakfast nearby. Also the layout is kind of awkward but the benches out front are nice.

CASHONLY! Otherwise, this place is the bomb diggity & my neighborhood underdog. I just wish they did eggs…

I have been looking for a good bagel spot in Bushwick and decided to check this out. The first time I went, there was one person working who was moving slower than slow. I ordered an iced coffee and an everything bagel with cream cheese. She rang me up, gave me my coffee and told me my bagel would be a few minutes. 10 minutes go by and I notice that she is talking to a friend near the end of the counter and she looks over at me and was like«oh, what did you have?» I told her and she goes to make it and says«we don’t have any cream cheese.» She sent someone to go buy some from the bodega down the street and after 25 minutes, I finally get my bagel. Burnt, cold and barely any cream cheese. I decided to give them one more shot, I walked over this morning and ordered and was told«Sorry, we’re out of bagels.» No thanks.

The bagel creations are awesome! And the coffee is outstanding. Only downside is you have to pay cash

Great space(fits strollers) and Iced Coffee! Couldn’t try anything to eat, since they didn’t have any gluten free options, but friendly staff and love hat they have an outdoor seating too!

As a concerned citizen of Bushwick, I must inform you that their iced coffee is a dollar more expensive than the coffee shop around the block. I mean if you’re drinking three cups of coffee a day that’s like, $ 21 saved per week. Also, the coffee is kind of weak. :( Haven’t tried anything else but their blueberry cornflake muffins looked good?

Go to Milk & Pull in Ridgewood and you’ll never want to come back to the Bushwick location. Milk & Pull Ridgewood is huge in comparison, has outdoor seating, is cleaner and they are NOT cash only! When she turned away my credit card I asked(out of genuine surprise and curiosity) the barista why Bushwick was cash only and Ridgewood takes cards? She explained to me that«…taking credit cards is actually really complicated. But we have an ATM.» Right… it’s so complicated that food trucks, vendors at street fairs, bodegas and even drug dealers are all accepting Visa with Square Readers. 2015 people!

Cool little spot in the neighborhood. It’s cash only so be ready. They serve dough donuts which is a huge plus. The coffee is pretty solid and well priced. Though it’s tasted a little ashy last time I was there. More of grab and go spot.

This is one of my go to breakfast/lunch spot near my home. They usually run out of bagels by 2 or 3 pm. So far the sandwiches I tried from here are delicious and filling. Also, I’ve notice they always have different staff so that might be the reason for some inconsistency based on the other reviews. But luckily I haven’t yet had a terrible experience just yet. I believe they are cash only. The ambiance of the place is small and chill . Until next time…

Don’t know where the people that work here learned to put cream cheese on their bagels but less is not more.

I love Milk & Pull sandwiches. I go out of my way to stop here for them. I usually come around 5, after a long day at work when I need to refuel. Sometimes they are out of bagels by then, which I understand. The sandwiches are so good, of course they run out! Today I came and was happy to see so many bagels left in their display case. My lucky day! But no. The server informed me that the sandwich station closes at 5, and since it was slightly after 5, no more sandwiches. I asked if there were certain types of sandwiches that she could make, as I was really looking forward to one, and didn’t even need the bagel toasted. She said maaaaybe she could put some cream cheese on a bagel, but acted like the very thought pained her. So I just got a yogurt parfait and sat down and relaxed. I figured she was having a rough day. Her loss, really. She didn’t know that I usually tip about 50% on these sandwiches. And since this joint was empty, maybe she would have appreciated it. And then guess what happened?! She started making an elaborate sandwich, right in front of me. She even toasted it. And then guess what she did? She ate it?! I was tempted to ask her how it was. Or make a snide comment about how the sandwich station opens back up at 5:10. But no, I decided on doing a passive aggressive Unilocal review instead.

Super friendly staff, good coffee and donuts/bagels. Cash only — there’s an ATM in the back. My only gripe is the layout. When it is busy(think Saturday around noon) the small front space can quickly become an epic clusterfuck of twenty-something hipsters.

Dang, this place is pricey. I ordered a small coffee, an almond croissant and a soy latte. The woman behind the counter said, «$ 8.00, please.» We paid and waited around for the small coffee. Turns out it wasn’t included in the $ 8.00. Unless I’m really jonesing for a Dough doughnut, I’m way too poor to become a regular here.
