Mirage Shower Doors

It’s been awhile since our renovation but I just realized I never reviewed Mirage.
Although I found their prices rather high (much higher than most comparables I could find online), I was able to get the price down a bit and figured the free installation would make up for the rest of the price gap. I don’t need to be figuring out how to install a glass shower on my own…
I had some difficulties with ordering from them. Just organizational issues… the whole business is on paper, so make sure you save your invoice #/​receipt! It took them a month or more once to process a check I sent in… if I recall correctly we spent a few weeks waiting around for the installation because of it.
Once that was cleared up, I had no issues at all with installation. They sent two guys for our shower enclosure, and they were able to work with our contractors to make the doors fit properly into the tile. They didn’t rush, and made sure everything was properly installed and sturdy before they left. They were some of the most professional workers we dealt with throughout the reno. The doors looked amazing– even better than I had expected. They really bring the whole bathroom together, and we haven’t had any issues with them since.

They could not get a simple job right. I ordered new glass doors for a hall closet and a new door for a passageway. It was one mistake after another. The first set of closet doors were too big, and they hung the other door wrong.
When they returned with the right closet doors the handles were not what I ordered and the workman wanted to install a floor track which was not part of the job. When they rehung the passageway door I had to show the guy how to do it, he had no idea. And he used scraps of metal which do not match to hang the track. It looks bad.
I withheld some money to try to incent them to return with the right door handles, but it did not work, they refuse to call back or fix the job.
Just plain terrible work, they came late, had no idea how to hang the doors correctly and worked very slowly.
Stay away!
