This place is now closed and deservedly so as far as I’m concerned. Hopefully a better restaurant will take over the space.

Great, great drinks! Service is very accommodating. The grilled wings are tasty, the bean and rice are traditional.

I had a business meeting at the Steiner Studios yesterday and passed by Mojitos. After my 3 hour boring meeting I headed to Mojitos to unwind. Whats better then a Mojito in a Cuban restaurant. After having 3 I was buzzed, had to eat. I picked 2 appetizers. One was the Bacalaitos {Cod cakes} they were great. The other was the Gambos Mojito {giant shrimp with mango salsa}.For my entrée I had the Pernil {roasted pork} it was juicy and moist with just the right garlic marinate. No room for dessert. The bar was hopping and the cute girl behind the bar with the big glasses was fabulous ! Im booking my Christmas party here !

A prior neighborhood gem, this place has really gone downhill. They had some of the best food in the neighborhood. Now, they’re among the worst. So much so that I’m in my apartment chatting with other neighbors about how much Mojito has changed over the last decade. We all used to love it. We’ve all spent thousands in the place over the years but the food is inconsistent at best, the service is terrible, they require a $ 20 minimum on credit cards and charge a 20% tip if your bill exceeds $ 75 — not to mention a $ 10ATM in the middle of the place(it’s not even cash only) and a torn up sign outside screams we really don’t give a sh*t. It’s now a waste of space. Sorry, not sorry.

Never order online from this place. Our food arrived 1 hour and 45 minutes late and cold. The churrasco was also tiny! There was more rice on the to-go plate than anything else. Our complaints also fell on deaf ears. If I could give this place 0 stars I would!

Took my husband here yesterday for his birthday and we were beyond disappointed. Empanadas came out cold and the croquettes were super salty. I ordered a cubano sandwich and at first it was amazing! Super tasty. My husband ordered a meat platter and was underwhelmed. It was all just OK. But a few hours later both my husband and I started throwing up and it expanded to full on food poisoning. We are still sitting here sick in bed. Beyond disappointed and we will not be returning.

I’ve been coming to this place for years. The mojitos are great,(cheaper if you sit at the bar). They also have one of the best Cuban sandwiches around, just delicious! The bad thing about this place is the inconsistency in it being open. I guess the owners don’t really need the business because they open and close whenever they feel like it. I’ve driven there a few times on days that they were supposed to be open, excited for my Cuban sandwich and mojito, and have been disappointed by them being closed. I still go every once and a while but before I head out I definitely call and make sure someone is there. Lol Definitely worth going though!

I have been here a few times and I keep coming back. My favorite is the quesadilla with plantain in it very different but tasty. Main course is the Arroz Con Pollo which I can’t get enough of it. The staff is always nice and friendly. If you are looking for something different, give it a try… The food is freshly cooked so there is a wait time.

I have been here twice both times were during off times so I don’t how crowded or noisy it gets but the atmosphere was pleasant. The food is AMAZING no complaints in this area and the prices were ok. If you’re a drinker; the drinks are strong this is a plus in my book! I’ve recommended this spot to a few friends and they love it as well.

Stopped by for an early dinner with the bf last week. The bread and tostones were divine. A would have liked a but more mojito, but maybe that’s the Puerto Rican/Cuban in me. I ordered grilled chicken with rice and he ordered the churrasco steak. Paid less than 50 $ for everything. Great meal and priced nicely too. Would love to visit again. Also, the decorations inside are adorable. Made me feel very much like I was back home at my abuela’s.

Where do it start! Living in the trendy Fort Greene neighborhood of there’s no shortage of cool restaurants and bars, but there something that keeps my coming back to Mojitos on a weekly basis. Is it the warm greeting that I receive from the owner/celebrity chef Kata, their kick ass Cuban version of a lasagna or the toasted bread w/Mojito sauce … Oh that bread!!! Just to some it up I love everything about this place.

The service was great! The décor was old and cob webbed and the food was blah the best dish was served buttered table bread. Don’t waste your money or time

So … We came by randomly because we were riding by on our bikes and saw it… Being a Gordon Ramsey fan, had to check it out… All I have to say is «what the hell did he even do here???» Being on the show should have showed them at least not to scream on the phone the entire time you have customers there… And… Not cutting mint with your BAREHANDS the entire time… We really tried to love it. The food wasn’t horrible but the atmosphere was less that should be desired… A big«never again» from me!

Came here for brunch and ordered the tortilla de mojito. Basically what it is, is a omelette with your choice of pork or beef. I picked the pork. It came with French fries and a mixture of diced tomatoes and onions on the side sorta like a pico de gallo. I liked the plating of the dish. It reminded me of a mofongo but instead of plantains, it was eggs. The entire dish was really tasty as well as the starter bread which comes with a sauce that I would love to have the recipe for. Service was great. The staff is attentive, friendly, and professional. they have a happy hour as well if you’re interested in that. I would’ve loved to try their mojito but I was on my lunch break. I will return soon to try out their other dishes which looks delicious as well. This place is the only place I have found so far, which has authentic Cuban coffee. I was in heaven after drinking a cup.

I gave this place only 2 stars based off of the food, not the service nor drinks. I took my children so no «happy hour» while they’re around.lol. I patronized this place on an early Saturday afternoon & I thought perfect! The food should be fresh & the wait wont be too long but… The food was horrible, the skirt steak tasted & smelled spoiled, almost rotten. The woman who served us identified herself as the owner, she seemed a bit annoyed with us over the fact that each meal she served was terrible. She tried as best as she knew how to tolerate us & substitute our meals for something else on the menu. The yuca was the only thing we all agreed upon that was fresh & tasted great! I would not recommend this place at all for food

This place USED to be amazing. My boyfriend and I would get a group together for superbrunch at least twice a month, sometimes more. After a completely rude and disrespectful experience with the crazy women who«run» this place, we boycotted Mojitos for 2 years. Finally got up the nerve to give it another try, what a mistake. Superbrunch is gone, regular brunch is a ripoff and half the dishes aren’t served anymore. Unfriendly service took forever, they got our drink order wrong and everything went up in price several dollars. I’m no longer boycotting them from a moral standpoint, there’s just nothing there that I want to spend my money on.

NPS = 0 This place is horrible. Actually, is there an adjective that describes something vile as worse than horrible? I’ll use that. Everything was an argument with the waitress. Everything. And it was as if they wanted us to leave. At one point they even took a plate of food of the table as we were eating saying it was«not included in the meal» when it really was. She just came right up and scooped up the plate as my girlfriend was eating. I really wanted to flip the table over. Horrible, horrible, horrible. The hilarious thing was that as our meal was going on, another guest was arguing WITHTHEOWNER over their lying posted on the menu. What kind of OWNER argues with a customer. This place is not Cuban. At all. The owner is Colombian and has never been to anywhere Cuban. Everything tasted horribly bland, and I REALLY wanted to give this place a good review. I really did. But instead, I am just trying to warn my fellow Unilocalers not to eat here. The customer service is the WORST I have ever experienced in my life!!! And at a Cuban place of all places!!! It’s as if this owner spat on my family’s heritage by opening such a horrific place. Save yourself from the headache and do not eat here. I wish I could give this place negative stars.
