You have found your moving company! Yes, don’t look any further. We moved a 3 bedroom apartment in Manhattan which is quite a job. We were nervous to the end saying what’s the catch with this company, as the prices were just the best around for a professional moving company. If a friend hadn’t recommended, I would be doubtful. But we decided to take her advice and hired these folks. Everything well-​packed by them, everything moved well — and we have a lot of things with a family. They came in under the max estimate by hundreds of dollars! The guys moving the furniture are super strong and were very helpful as I had them move furniture around the room to different locations a few times to fit where I wanted it. Moving sucks but it doesn’t have to if you feel you weren’t raped on the cost of the moving company. Highly recommend Moving your Way!

I can’t express how impressed I was with these guys. They moved us from our Brooklyn brownstone to a 6^th floor building this week and were the best part of the move. Igor and his team are friendly and respectful of your furniture. They took care to wrap up all of our items and even helped consult where things should go in the new space :) If I’m ever unfortunate enough to have to move again, I will definitely be using these guys.

I actually moved last March 2014 and just now remembered to add to the list of awesome reviews. I’m glad other people had a great experience with them and that I was not somehow a fluke. These guys are solid, strong, dependable, careful. Not so much talking but still friendly and straight forward. I was their second move of the day, so they were already tired. Moving down two flights and into a four story walk-​up. Ugh. But these guys did not grumble. Super hard working, good attitude.
They wrapped everything in blankets and celophane. No scratches. Nothing broken. Had me dummy check the truck to make sure that everything that went in also went back out.
They are very competitively priced but you should also give them a generous tip. You just should. They deserve it.

Moving Your Way really is as great as all the reviews make it out to be. I kept asking myself, why does this seem too good to be true… and it really is as good as it sounds. 3 guys moved my entire 1BR apt (50 boxes, numerous large pieces of furniture, etc) from Manhattan to Brooklyn in less than 5 hours for half the price of the closest competition (I had received competitive quotes from Moishe’s, Flat Rate, Rabbit, Roadway, etc). The 3 movers were as professional as could be throughout the entire process. They were efficient, super quick, and still treated all my possessions with care. Not a single item broke in the move. I was never pressured into giving a tip, but did not hesitate to give a 30% tip split evenly amongst the crew. They were all very appreciative.
I really like that they charged an hourly rate as opposed to by volume, so I didn’t have to fret over how many boxes needed to be moved. I knew from the start exactly how much it would cost based on the time it took, and there were no last minute surprises especially since they moved everything so fast that it took less time than anticipated.
Moving in NY in general is never a pleasant experience… but Moving Your Way made it as smooth a process as possible. if you have to move, use these guys and you won’t be disappointed.

These guys are unbelievably good — almost surrealistically so. They did a complicated move for me last week from a 1BDR apartment on the UWS with, like, 100 boxes and furniture to 2 locations in Brooklyn: a 3-​story house with lots of stairs and a basement and a studio apartment in an elevator building. They came at about 9:30 and we finished up around 4:00 and this was with a lunch break and only a 4-​man crew. Every box ended up where it was supposed to be and they were very professional. They charge by the hour and so somehow this move cost me about the same as a similar move did 23 years ago (!) For real — and I still can’t understand how they pulled it off, exactly. But I’m deeply impressed. They’re great!

Igor and the team were AMAZING. Moving in New York totally sucks, but it almost feels easy with Moving Your Way. This is now the third time my boyfriend and I have used this company between the two of us, and I highly recommend them! Super fast, they always get there early and get done faster than quoted. They’re incredibly businesslike — always prompt with communication and very courteous — the guys were efficient yet also gentle with our fragile things and furniture; we couldn’t be happier. Outstanding. My boyfriend and I have each used Moving Your Way for our past two independent moves, and we knew immediately that we’d call on them again for our recent move. As we’ve come to expect, the team was prompt, *incredibly* efficient, and courteous, and they were particularly careful with my hand-​made furniture. Communication with Igor has always been clear, thorough, and prompt. I’m hoping to avoid the torture of moving for the foreseeable future — but if and when it again comes time to relocate, we’ll definitely call Igor.

Moving Your Way made my move so incredibly easy and stress free. Not only did they show up early, but also they were able to pack up all my stuff, bring it across town, and unpack the truck in less than 3 hours (no breaks or damages); all for an incredibly reasonable price, too.
I highly recommend them to all my friends and colleagues. Fingers crossed I do not have to move for a while, but when I do I will use them again without a doubt.

Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. They arrived early, which was great since I was ready and raring to go. They work fast, thoroughly, and bring a vibe of competence. The whole move from my UWS elevator building (with a slow and intrusive super) to my new UES 4^th floor walkup took only 2.5 hours. And I have a lot of stuff – particularly clothes and BOOKS. The guys couldn’t have been nicer, faster, or more on top of things. Nothing broken (except by me – I was rushing to get one of the guys a glass of water). I tipped pretty well, I think. It came to $ 365 and I tipped the 4 guys 40 each. I wish I’d made it 45 each to bring it up to a 50% tip. They deserve it, and the price is so low I’d rather that money goes to the actual movers than to some company. And Igor is great to deal with. Highly recommend.

Moving Your Way isn’t fancy but they get the job done, fast. They are very reasonably priced. $ 115 an hour for 4 guys. We originally estimated 5 hours, but they were done in 4, so you know they are efficient.
There isn’t a ton of communication before hand, basically a quick phone call and faxed insurance certificates to our buildings. They do come pretty early, so just plan that into you appointment time.

Pros:
— They moved all my stuff to a 2^nd floor walk up on the hottest day of the week in less than 2 hours — very impressive.
— All of my stuff were moved on time, in good shape.
Cons:
— Communication. Hard to understand, which led to a confusion in pricing and I ended up paying more than what I intended to.
— They told me that they would show up from 2 – 4 pm, then confirmed at 4 pm, then showed up early ~ which is somewhat annoying.
Overall my move was smooth, I would recommend this company to other people, but keep in mind you have to be somewhat great with understanding some heavy accents.

Fantastic job! The easiest move ever, will use for as long as we live in NYC. The crew arrived on time, even early, helped pack some things (they had boxes for everything and even for wardrobe!) and worked fast with great efficiency. Very polite and hard-​working people!

Igor and his crew were fantastic! They showed up on time (even 15 minutes early) and they were so quick and thorough. They moved fast and wrapped up everything really well. It really put me at ease. Previous movers I’ve used would dilly dally since they are on the clock and paid by the hour, but Igor’s team was working every minute. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and I will definitely call them again when we need to move!

I would recommend Moving Your Way without reservation. Igor, the owner, is extremely professional and courteous. He came to my apartment and gave me a very fair quote. On moving day, Oleg and his team swooped in, and quickly, efficiently, and carefully moved my stuff into a 4^th floor walk-​up. Before I knew it, it was over. The move took exactly the quoted amount of time. I had heard some nightmare moving stories recently, and couldn’t believe how lucky I was. I was so impressed I called Igor to compliment his team on a job well done. Again, I can’t recommend these guys enough.

We recently completed a relatively complicated move with Moving Your Way. The others reviews are true — they did an awesome job.
We picked up furniture and boxes from three apartments (2 in manhattan, 1 in brooklyn) and moved everything into an apartment in brooklyn on 2 floors. Despite our estimated amount of stuff falling laughably short of what we actually requested them to move (seriously, we probably were 50% off on our estimate!) they finished everything within half an hour of the requested time. They broke one low hanging light in the new apartment, but 5.5 hours into a job when the estimate was off… we can barely fault them for that. Everything else was handled with care; it was especially impressive watching them wrap up furniture.
There were a few unexpected fees, especially charging us for their «wardrobe boxes» (which are 100% re-​usable anyway?). We tipped generously and were still «shaken down» (as other reviewers noted) for an additional tip.
Even with the few unexpected fees, extra tip, broken light, and horrible estimates on our side, I couldn’t recommend these guys enough — they were professional, fast, efficient, careful, and still beat out the competition in price. 5/​5, will absolutely use them for our next move.

Absolutely fantastic movers. Used another local service last year to move from 56^th St in Manhattan to 190^th and it took twice as long, cost twice as much, and even took more movers than it took to go from 190^th in Manhattan to lower Brooklyn (still scratching my head at that one). Igor and the MYW crew were lightning fast, spot on with the estimate, didn’t nick or scratch a thing, and were a joy to work with. They even showed up a half hour early on a Saturday morning, which was impressive and helpful. Seriously, I’ve never seen a move go so fast and so smoothly and I’ve moved well over 20 times in my life. Couldn’t recommend them more and they’ve got a customer for life… not that I want to move ever again. Moving is rough, but MYW made it a breeze. Thanks guys!

WOW! Sasha and his team showed up and did an incredible job. I was quoted 3 to 4 hrs for a 1 bedroom elevator to a 2 fl walk up move with 4 guys. I must say i was extremely skeptical at first thinking I’d be getting some guys from like Dumbo moving that would be taking there sweet ass time by the hour. These guys were in and out in 3.5 hrs!!! They wrapped everything and dismantled the bed and vanity… it was truly incredible. The 4 guys did a great job and definitely made the move a non stressful event. I would 100% use this company again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone else.
I have also used flat rate moving in the past and these guys still did a much much better job.
