Yes, I do love this station; it’s the transfer point between the L train and its country cousin, the little toy G train. (4 cars only!)
It’s an extremely useful transfer station; my one gripe – as with all these sprawling stations – is that it takes forever and a few stairways to transfer from one train to the other.
Countdown clocks are in effect, which is a good thing.

You know you’ve arrived at the junction of Converse and Irony when the newsstand is a hipster bookstore.
There is literally no better place to transfer from the L train to the G train and vice-​versa, except when the G train isn’t running and you have to take the bus shuttles, which is the case for the foreseeable future. Sometimes the L train takes a break instead.

It’s the place where you can transfer from the L to the G and vice versa. Know where you need to be on either train to run to the next track, because you will likely need to run.
