Music and Movement classes for infants, babies, toddlers, and preschoolers with a parent or caregiver. «Mommy and me» type classes include singing, dancing, chants, rhythm games, and playing with simple instruments. Ages birth — seven years old with an adult. Music Together is an award-​winning international early childhood enrichment program founded on the belief that all children are musical, and that music is a perfect way for even the youngest child to learn, create, communicate, connect, and grow. Our research-​based program is educationally rich, and developmentally appropriate — but most of all it is a lot of fun for the entire family. Through playful music and movement activities, we help develop language skills, social skills, imagination, emotional intelligence — and of course a lifetime love of music-​making as an active participant. Classes are limited to 12 children, and meet for 45 minutes, once a week. Morning, afternoon, evening, & weekend classes in 5 locations.

History

Established in 1997.

Music Together is an award-​winning international music and movement program for young children and the adults who love them. Founded in Princeton, NJ in 1988, Music Together’s popular program has spread all over the world. First offered in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn in 1997, director Michael Henry opened a dedicated storefront studio on 90^th Street in 2002. Classes are now offered in five locations serving Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Dyker Heights, Gravesend, Mill Basin, Bergen Beach, Flatlands, and Marine Park.
