***2.5 Stars. Not the greatest DR restaurant in Sunset Park. Food is good, the rice and beans with chicken is tasty, flavorful. I also had the avena(oatmeal porridge) is delish, and I highly recommend it. I had their empanadas they were greasy, cold and bland. But the service could be better, is type slow. They offer suggestions with an iron fist. Which means what they suggest usually is what goes. The décor is cantina style, don’t expect bourgeois sophistication here. This is Sunset Park, and you know what time it is. Is an Ok place.

Came in starving. Wasn’t in the mood for Chinese, couldn’t find a pizza joint, and I settled for simple and basic arroz con pollo. Food was good but was a bit pricey and they took forever to bring it out. But I give the place four stars because I was in a hurry and can’t fault the place for taking a while if they were preparing the food fresh which it is likely they were. I believe menus are in Spanish only, so be prepared. Staff did not speak good English.

Not the best dominican joint I been to. It’s kind of shitty looking. However, some of the regular girls who work at the better joints do some time here to make extra cash. Worth it if you want to hang with them on a more personal level.
