I ordered for delivery and got the combination hibachi with steak and scallops and a ginger ale. Pros: the food came fast. Cons: the food. First off, the food is bland. It tasted like no seasonings at all were used not even salt or pepper! Secondly it came with white rice. This wouldn’t be a problem if the last option on grubhub for the combination hibachi didn’t ask if you wanted EXTRA hibachi fried rice because how can you get extra of something you don’t get in the first place? On top of that the delivery guy was pretty rude because my intercom isn’t working even though I wrote in the delivery instructions to call me and not ring the bell. I haven’t tried their sushi and I probably won’t because there are a ton of other options in the neighborhood. Overall, I’m sitting here drinking the ginger ale and wishing I’d gone with a burrito bowl instead.

I’m not sure how I feel about this place. I’m usually happy with my sushi as long as the fish looks fresh, however, the regular rolls I got were TINY, and the special roll that I got that I paid close to $ 10 for was TINY as well. They were bite size rolls which I was not happy about considering this is what I had for dinner. OH and I got a spicy kani salad that was more than $ 5 that comes in pretty much a sample container, so by the time you have two bites you’re pretty much done with the salad. The miso soup was Ok– but miso soup pretty much tastes the same anywhere you get it. I will not be ordering again from this place, I feel like I was ripped off.

not only is the food fresh but the really go beyond. my sista and i always come here as our to go spot for sushi. but today we were celebrating her birthday late; so it was a casual hang out. she doesn’t like too much attention. so as we were eating our meal Andres(sp?) our host and leah(sp?) over heard it was her birthday– at the end of our meal andres was real smooth and asked her name and told her happy birthday my friend and didn’t think much of it. after i asked for the check andres leah and their colleague came out with a piece of amazing berry tart lit with a candle & sang happy birthday to her. as much as she doesn’t like attention she seriously felt the sincerity of the staff at nagoya & started crying & leah gave her a hug– they even tried to give me credit for the surprise attack. aside from the hospitality perspective we got their love boat for 2, rock shrimp, and fried oyster. our usual order when we go– their quality has been great and consistent every time we went. thank you for the wonderful surprise. i can’t wait to upload the video of her sobbing with joy LOL.

Even though food was good, but food was served on the chipped plates. Those plates should have been replaced long time ago! Not appropriate! The smell in the restaurant was as if you are sitting directly in the kitchen, my clothes smells like i was having dinner in the seafood store, the vent has to be fixed. Waitress took half of the bottle of my unfinished drink without asking me. Definitely this place needs an improvement.

Decent sushi, great price. I’ve always only gotten takeout, but when I pick up, I’ve realized that the interior is actually pretty nice, and seems like it would be a nice place to sit down. The sushi is fine. Really small rolls, with a little bit of fish, that tastes pretty good. The prices are solid. Under $ 4 for fish rolls, so if you’re looking for cheap takeout, his is a solid place. Delivery is also super fast. Like 30 minutes fast, when the drive to your house is 10 minutes alone. Not sure how they do it. My picks are spicy tuna– avocado, California, and spicy salmon roll. House salad is pretty good too.

The customer service was great here. I always do the take because I work by the hospital. The front desk lady Sally she was very nice and very helpful. I didn’t know what do order today, but she took her time explaining each roll and helping me out. A five star because she remember that I have allergy to certain food and remember what each customer have a special usual order. thank you Sally!

I’m not even sure how I live so close to Nagoya and the first time I try the food is this past Friday. I’m mortified, because the sushi I’ve been eating from this neighborhood is a 5 and this I could definitely say is a 10. From A — Z every sushi dish we ordered was absolutely phenomenal. Like seriously, perfect fish. The colors of the tuna, salmon and sea bass was just amazing. Perfect quality would be a total understatement. I ordered a salmon teriyaki dish which was surprisingly very cheap for the large portion they gave. I also had these few pieces of seared crusted tuna! Ah my mouth is salivating just thinking about it. Edemame was fresh and nicely boiled. I want to kick myself for not knowing about this place sooner. Definitely becoming a regular here. This order was a delivery and came to us perfectly packed with nothing ruined in the travel. I look forward to going to Nagoya and trying them in house. I can only imagine how great the meals would be.

This is the place for sushi in midwood. How’s better than Russians when it comes to consuming sushi? This area have countless sushi restaurants and this is one of the best. Their Chicken mango salad is amazing, the tatsuta age is made to perfection. Food is always fresh and good, service is really fast and friendly, place is clean and atmosphere is quite and food. I highly recommend this place for a casual sushi date

The absolute best sushi I have ever had in NYC. Service sometimes is on a slow side but the food outweighs it BIG time. I’m a huge sushi lover and have tried many places all over the city and yet, every time I return back to this place. Best sushi ever!

Love this place, always come here for fresh sushi. Love the spicy dancing kani roll, pink lover roll and dragon roll. Service is not too bad either, usually pretty quick unless busy. They usually get busy closer to the weekend, especially evenings. Prices are fair and definitely better than city pricing. Many different varieties of sushi rolls. They have regular sushi rolls like California roll and Philadelphia for about $ 3. Their special rolls range from $ 8-$ 20. The crowd is usually mixed between families and couples. Love the fried ice cream. I haven’t had any of the other dishes to comment except for the sushi. Edamame is good as well. The kani salad is also good. They charge extra 50 cents for mayonnaise.

Hello to all readers:) This place is really good for sushi or sashimi. The prices are very affordable while the sushi and sashimi was fresh even on a Saturday.(Weekends are bad for sushi sometimes as most wholesalers are closed, Saturdays are better then Sundays especially for Tuna) I got take out here two times in the last two weeks while working in the area. The spicy tuna/salmon is hit or miss but I never judge a place by those type of rolls as they are made with a mix of fish and other product that sits in a bucket. As far as actual fresh fish, this place is great! Had fluke, sea bass, tuna, mackerel, fatty tuna and salmon. All were fresh and really good!

Ordered: Chicken teriyaki Pros – The price($ 7 plus tax and tip) was decent for the portion. Cons – Service was pretty bad. They seemed to have one waiter servicing the entire restaurant. It took awhile for them to take my order and the waiter was barely around except to give and take away the food and check.

Maybe my overindulged palate and too much traveling has made me quite the snobby critique but the food served was inedible. Unauthentic, reheated, prepackaged food drenched in pre made sauce. The staff lack proper customer service skill and etiquette. Disregard the positive reviews, eat elsewhere.

Really rude staff. Ordered online, received my food super late(well over an hour after we ordered it, and a good 45 minutes after the latest time they said they would arrive). When I called to check on when it would arrive, the woman who answered the phone snapped at me and hung up after very rudely answering my question. Some customer service goes a long way. In total, I waited close to two hours for food that they said would be delivered within 45 minutes. In general though, the food was o.k. The sushi we had did not stick together, but the flavors were good. Definitely not the best sushi I have ever had. The prices are reasonable though, so it could be worth it for that. Maybe eating in is better than delivery.

I absolutely love sushi. However I can’t afford to have it all the time and especially in the city. I’ve been coming here since high school and it’s still good. It’s really convenient for me since it’s close to my house. When I’m early, I tend to get their 3 rolls lunch special with soup or salad.

It’s been a few years since I had sushi. My sweet GF surprised with a lunch date to one of her favorite spots. The ambience is lovely. Warm, sultry & romantic even. Low lighting, good music, nice waitresses. We wee able to order appetizers right away, I took a little while to get my mind made up on an entrée because the menu is extensive. Once we did order, we probably waited 30 mins for it. My GFs order was cut in half but it was handled right away. The miso soup is insane. The seaweed & tofu are like butter. My Queen & Red Lobster roll were insane, I prefer the savory aspect of the Queen roll more even though the cream cheese in the e Lobster roll had a field day in my mouth! Lol, wasn’t too pricey either. Cute lil spot for lunch, or dinner. I will definitely return to try a bunch of the other choices, hot food included.
