Bad customer service.

This warehouse sells affordable items of all sorts; from housewares, snacks, food, clothes, school supplies, to toys. Think of it as a huge 99 cent store. Pineapples are 2 for $ 5, get them while you can!
Oh, and birthday cards are 99 cents!

Recently the glass on my watch broke so I decided to head over to National Wholesale Liquidators to get it fixed. They have a watch repair shop on the inside. It wasn’t the first time I came in for a watch related issue. Anyways, I showed them the problem and they said they can get it fixed. They immediately gave me the price and the time that they need to get it fixed. I agreed to everything and let them fix my watch within a one week time period. I came in a week after to pick it up. I handed over the piece of paper to the employee and he gave me the fixed watch. It seemed as if it was new and nothing ever happened to it. In my opinion they did a pretty good and prestigious job. I handed over the $ 28 (price for the glass repair). It is a pretty fair price if you ask me. I walked out happy :) You can also purchase watches from them. They sell brands like Bulova in their store. Defiantly recommend checking them out for anything watch related.

this is my 2^nd time here. get ready to wait a long time for check out. the products are cheap, but very hard to navigate inside the place. if you have the patience and time to look through the whole place this could be good for you.
if you do buy produce from them make sure you know how much per the items are. the cashier kept on asking me how much per lbs for every produce that i had.

The place is cheap and usually has parking. Be sure to look at expiration dates though. The place is dirty and often times no one there cares enough to clean up a mess if there’s one in an aisle, which happens often. Barely anyone working there even knows where products are so good luck with that. Came in this time to find a new food chopper. They displayed a product that I would have taken but it wasn’t actually in stock. The people at the registers are almost always slow and look like they’d rather be anywhere else. Good selection of products though.

You really can spend hours in here if you do not arrive prepared with a list of things that you need to buy. Case in point, I wandered in thinking I can spare 30 mins looking for random home goods I might like to spruce up the lonely headquarters. What happened? I wound up staying for 2+ hours and left with 3 big bags of crap. And by crap I mean chips and mugs. To be fair, my intentions were to purchase a watering can, which surprisingly they do not have. I also were eyeing at some flower pots but due to my mode of transportation (legs, big strong ones I assure you) I had to forgo the extra load of items because I can only carry so much with my arms (equally as chunky as them aforementioned legs).
NWL, you wicked warehouse you, I will return and ransack your aisles some more, this I swear!

I gave 4 stars for the selection, you would be hard pressed not to find what you are looking for here. Organization can use an upgrade but other than that this place is fine. I only saw one person who wasn’t at a register working so if your in a rush and need to find something I’m not sure just how much help you will get. I did walk the entire store, every isle and corner. Some things are a steal here and the rest if it is the same price in other places. As long as you don’t expect this to be Walmart or Target you’ll be fine. This would be a great place to find cheap party supplies, cups, plates etc.

This place isn’t all that. I was pissed because I went there to furnish my apartment for cheap and found curtains. They didn’t fit and when I took them home the alarm system punctured a hole through the curtain so even tho they would’ve fit they ruined the curtains by doing this. Good thing I returned the merchandise and realized that the price that was marked off was double the ticket price. The lady at the register told me as she scanned the items for return. I would’ve gotten 50 bucks back for returning my items. However the receipt to return was hand written I guess they process returns by hand instead of by computer like top stores and I have never processed received the 50 dollar return onto my credit card. I won’t be going back to buy anything there except the mouse for my hair which is 1.99 and is 3.99 in Duane reade. And i will make sure I only pay in cash.

They say you can’t go home again, but sometimes you can step a few years into the past. Out by where I live in New Jersey, the «National Wholesale Liquidators» chain used to be one of my go to places for… well a really odd variety of things. Sometimes it was housewares, other times it was a rug, yet another time it would be for obscure toys on clearance. When you needed something for a reasonable price, but weren’t sure where to go, stopping there was generally not a bad call as a first stop.
However, several years ago, the two main NWL’s that I frequented both closed. I thought the chain was gone as I stopped seeing their fliers as well. Fast forward to a month ago and my mother talked about this great store she wanted to visit to pick up some type of lotion that she couldn’t find anywhere else. I offered a «Pshaw» to that and promptly visited several Duane Reades and a mom and pop pharmacy thinking «How rare could this be? It’s a major brand name?» Turns out the specific lotion she wanted could only be found at… you guessed it… National Wholesale Liquidators!
Off the beaten path in Brooklyn, this NWL looks like it has been around for quite some time. The signage is old and worn and the interior looks like it was fashionable some time around the Nixon era. If you think that’s a criticism, don’t. That’s actually part of the charm of this store. Oddly arranged shelves, sometimes illogical arrangement of items, a random «As Seen on TV» section in the middle of the store and a cooler completely dedicated to Blue Bunny ice cream products. Yes, this was the NWL I remembered and stepping into this store was like stepping back in time.
The prices here were quite reasonable and in some cases much cheaper than what you’d find in pharmacies or a Target. Their selection is a bit chaotic, but they do carry plenty of brand name items (along with some generics). This includes everything from peanuts to tissue. Still, it’s an interesting shopping experience if stores like this were part of your shopping experience as a kid or young adult.
Side note: there is a cat that prowls the premesis keeping it vermin free. Tread lightly and you may spot him before he dashes away!

This is a warehouse of bargains. Plenty of great buys on essential household items. The electronic dept and the toiletries are really good buys in general. There is clothing, food and hardware sections.
This place is in my nightmares this is a place that keeps me I prisoned while my wife strolls each and every nook and crevice. The long ass lines make me want to freak out but I calmly just patiently wait and imagine the Walking Dead devour the checkout lady. As I become part off a human traffic jam I envision speeding up the Westside Highway on my motorcycle while insisting we do not buy anything edible even though pickled eggs sounds delicious.

I feel like the previous statement could potentially stand alone as the entire review, but I suppose I’ll add a bit more color. National Wholesale Liquidators, is exactly what its name suggests. It is a huge discount emporium that houses everything — perfume, clothing, electronics, household items — that you can imagine (and some things you can’t) at closeout prices. One thing to remember that these are liquidated items — varying in age, and mostly offered at a discount because they didn’t sell that well at retail. Sometimes you’ll get a bargain, sometimes you won’t, and that’s all part of the fun.

This use to be a place me and my family go to just to go lol. It’s a huge store kinda like Costco type of store… Sells foods, electronics, books, clothes, etc… I always thought this place was sooo cool when I was a kid… I loved huge wide stores ones where you can easily get lost… They always have these sales which makes you want to go. I would defiantly say the stuff there aren’t that great… But has the most reasonable prices.

A bit of a downgrade for NAT LIQ based on this weekend as there were only two registers open and one express register. Unfortunately a biker type woman was buying her entire 2013 wardrobe and it looked like that would be at least an hour –with some items not ticketed… The other regular register had 10 people lined up. Headed to express –which wasn’t at all express as a patron who had far more than 10 items was there. No effort was made to open any new registers despite plenty of staff wandering aimlessly through the store.
Still great prices though!

Went in here a few days ago to purchase some household goods. Now years ago this place was like the best, because everything you wanted was under one roof and at bargain basement prices. Okay fine… Fast forward 10 – 15 years, «hello 99 cents store, how are you?» The world got introduced to the .99 cents store. Where people thought this store was cheap, they started going to the 99 cents store and saw they could do much better when it came to saving money. I come in and the clue that I should have exited stage left was the guy and girl in the front with the huge display of designer frames. And the «optician». This case was fully loaded with every designer known to man and also had «exclusive» frames that are hard to find. Upon closer inspective of the «designer frames». Straight fugazy! Fake! Ratched! Chanel frames had (MaDe iN itaLy), etched into the insides. Letters was put together like that. What is this a ransome note! No! Need I say more!!!
Toothpaste was 2.99 and there was boxes and boxes of it. Palmolive dish detergent was 2.89 for a small one. You can get these items from the pharmacy on sale for less. The floor is in serious need of repair and went to the section with bathroom rugs and it was old rugs, full of dust and went for $ 15.00 or more when you can get the same thing at Target. The food section was atrocious! Is this a frozen pizza or a tv dinner? I wasnt going to purchase any food stuffs from here but since this area. was near the register you can’t help but see it. The juice boxes looks like it was opened and like someone drank out it. This place has fallen downhill. Won’t be returning!

They have literally everything here for an amazingly cheap price. I can get a hair dryer for like 10 bucks and it would be the same for $ 25 at CVS. This place is basically like a run down walmart in my opinion. I like this store cause it’s close to my house and cheap!

I agree that NWL is like a 99 cent store on steroids. Tons of cheap but useful stuff, including electronics, bedding, cleaning supplies, cooking supplies, snacks, clothes, automotive, tools/​hardware, furniture, back to school stationery, and much more. The quality isn’t always the greatest (definitely do some QA first), but that’s what happens when almost the entire store’s stock is imported from China.
I’d like to particularly call out their auto parts section as well as their picture frames and stationery. You’ll find most of what you want if it falls within those three departments.
Moving into a dorm or into a new apartment? Definitely stop by NWL before going to Target or something similar, as you’ll probably find a few gems you wouldn’t find elsewhere. Just don’t expect anything you get to last 2+ years.

This place is like a $.99 store but even better. They have good deals when things are are on sale. So make sure you check your local circulars. Anyways, I bought a bunch of odds and ends like food, shoes, clothing, and home goods. I can’t wait to see how long they last and depending on that I will probably change my rating.
Anyways, I still treasure this place because it is like a upscale Bergament. If you’ve been to Bergament then you’d know what I’m talking about. They have electronics, but I DEFINITELY would not buy my next tv or dvd player from here. The electronics department looks a bit shady like things magically fell off a truck. Anyway, I digress… I bought ear phones here and I’m waiting to see how long that lasts. The ear phones sound good and they cost half the price of what I would normally pay. My bf also bought zucchini spread and he loved it. I bought a pair of boots here, I’m not sure if that was wise but I’ll give it a try. I will definitely come back for more party goods because they have everything here.
The place is like a magical wonderland of assortments, except the service can be a bit brusque.

It’s no frills cheap shopping here. I mean I would never ever come here to get any food products, but if garbage bags and paper towels and plastic cups are what you need then this place has the best prices by far.
We’re renovating our home and I drop by here almost every other day to pick up all things necessary (like brooms, rope, garbage cans, etc). It’s a big warehouse kind of space that really does sell everything from home supplies, beauty products, food items, electronics, clothing and furniture all under one roof. A sort of one stop shop.
THe parking lot is huge and makes it easy for you to run and out without worrying about where to leave your car.
