I am a long time fan of Apolo’s so this is coming from a long time customer. I am also hoping this is a one off occasion but nonetheless I recently ordered take out. A simple order was not correct when delivered, food appeared to have been recooked/burnt and the quality has dropped substantially. In short, This is not the quality of an Apolo’s(Bushwick location) I have known for a long time. Please revisit the expectations of your establishment.

4 stars is a relative rating, as there aren’t many Chinese options in the neighborhood. I ordered to-go and the meal was ready really quickly. For $ 9 I got a lot of food. Ordered the General Tsos and asked for pork fried rice. The rice was a big portion and tasted awesome. Almost as good as the pork fried rice at J East’s in Manhattan. The quality of the chicken was good. Not great. A little on the overbreaded side. Not spicy at all. I would probably try something else next time. Not a bad option though. The atmosphere in there is bizarre but somehow endearing. I want to try one of their drinks next time, but it is pricy for Bushwick.

This Apollo location has really good drinks. I don’t know how the other new locations are(haven’t been yet), but my friends and I really enjoy their alcoholic beverages.

What do you do when you’ve had a long day, missed your favorite Happy Hour so you get on the train back to BK sulking the whole ride because you could really use a drink. But NOT the hard apple cider you have in your fridge an actual cocktail but uggghhhh you don’t want to be bothered with people or reading a menu??? You transfer from the J to the M get off on Knickerbocker walk a few blocks to New Apollo. Where for $ 10 you can get a 16oz(or maybe 12oz) cocktail of NOT top shelf liquor(probably Georgi) in a styrofoam cup TOGO!!! Perfect because even though the food is NOT great it’s always packed. I have actually sat and had food here twice and each time vowed to never spend my money here again(aside from my Pink Hawaiian of course) These won’t be the BEST drinks ever either but you get to walk down the street sipping from your naughty styrofoam cup, getting pretty buzzed on your walk home or around the neighborhood, hell even pre gaming before festivities as I have done all of the above. $ 20 later and I’m a happy layydddaaayyyyyy!

Look I vibe alcohol but this place is about 2 much! Let’s break it down: A) the food is fine B} the people watching is a delight C) I haven’t had this many bruises since the schoolyard fuckfest of my youth. The menu is desirable for many reasons. The heavy challenge is growing up. I ain’t done it yet. Can’t

Just for drinks: $ 15 for a watery Henny Colada? Mad guys posted up at the bar so it looks like a bar with restaurant seating. One guy went into the kitchen because they served his order burnt and demanded a new one. I’m sorry Brooklyn you have this place. You don’t deserve watery Henny coladas and neither do I.

If you wanna trap yourself in a place of hyenas and just plain ‘olé rowdiness, then this is the place for you! This place is WAY too loud to even have a conversation with whomever you are eating with right across from you. Food was actually pretty decent, but the experience really ruined it. Will not be returning.

Their drinks are amazing ! Definitely recommend their blue Hawaiian !(Only $ 10). As far as their food, do not recommend because their grade is a «C» which is pretty gross. Great spot to catch a quick drink if you’re in the area. The greatest part is that you can take them to go!

My favorite New‘ York City dining establishment of all time! I have a love affair with this place dating back to when they were located in the Lower East Side and I was 16 years old. Food is incredible with the best pork fried rice I have ever tasted in my life! I love this place! I love the staff! They are very accommodating every time I go to eat there. I go there with different members of my inner circle at least once a week during the week. The food is great and I recommend the beef steak(number 11) as I have been eating it almost exclusively for over fifteen years as a patron of Apollos. The drinks are a tremendous value as they are delicious and quite potent. The iced tea is legendary! It is rare to be able to have a satisfying meal for under ten dollars but Apollos gets the job done for it’s patrons. I highly recommend this establishment!

Also great part of it, they deliver the drinks !!! what more can you ask for. :)

QUALITY Chinese/Spanish food(not your reg corner chinese rest.), speedy and friendly service, and drinks to go in a styrofoam cup! What more could u ask for? Adults come here as a hangout spot with friends. Only drawback is that it gets really crowded, mainly because of the prices of drinks and food. Jane the waitress is the best.

They deliver mixed drinks in a styrofaom cup(!!!) Ok the Chinese food is basic fast food style/American greasy chinese food. This is not dim sum people. However the menu is a bit palsy and skim on the food offerings. $ 1 – 2 more then I’m use to for chinese food in the hood. And they did forget my egg roll! –__– telling me they put extra rice in when I called to complain FOH!!! But lets get back to the crowing glory of the restaurant. This is the same Apollo thats connected to the other two New Apollo’s both offering bliss in a styrofoam cup. The small drinks are $ 10 and while that may seem a bit high, its really the equivalent to going to Dallas BBQ’s Texas Size drink, which after tax and tip is $ 10 – 12 and not nearly as strong as what New Apollo’s is offering up. They also have Frozen drinks(!!!). I had the Blue Hawaiian, more then just a buzz… I was tips-say. Since the minimum delivery is $ 8. The next time I may skip the food and just order drinks. Now I just need to find the margarita spot in the Bushwick hood…
