Very friendly people. They always welcome you in. There is a vast selection of products that range from oils and Shea to books and clothing. Everything is neat and easy to navigate throughout but there is always someone to ask questions if needed. A bit expensive but it is downtown.

I do not know why this store is listed as CLOSED because it is not. This is where I buy some of the products for my hair including some body care stuff. You can pick up scented oils, all things Nubian heritage as well as all natural Shea butter, soaps, and lotions. It really is a neat store. They also sell Africa inspired jewelry, clothes and books. Check it out!

I LOVE the place… Though some of the clothes I can make for myself and save $ 40! =]

I can’t believe that I haven’t Unilocaled about the Brooklyn branch of NH. This was the first store that primarily used to sell incense, black soap and oils wholesale to street vendor. The expanded to include books, clothes, jewelry and gift items. I have a lovely Egyptian inspired candle holder that I picked up from NH years ago for something like $ 10. The store is conveniently located in downtown Brooklyn on Fulton Street near Flatbush Avenue.

The best, the aura, the ambiance… I wish I could be there right now! The best place to get your nice oils, and the shea butter is the best thing, palmers has nothing on them!

A required stop for me when I’m in NYC and especially in Brooklyn. The place consists of separate vendors(co-op style) that sell everything from oils, bath and body products to books, cd, and hats, all with an afro-centric focus. The whole reason I go there is to get oils from the ‘oil man’ in the back. He sells THE best quality oils! If you’re still wearing purfume STOP and get thee to Nubian Heritage!

My little oasis. From the moment you walk in, the smell of incense and the gentle demanours of the staff is so inviting. For all your natural hair and skin needs as well as neo-soul/rastafari clothing and literature, Nubian Heritage is the place to be.
