Anni is THE BEST, and I’m so glad that I had her do makeup for my wedding!
After my makeup trial, I was completely at ease and knew that I was in great hands. I went into it stressing the importance of looking natural and like myself, and she listened to all of my input and concerns and totally understood what I wanted to look like on my wedding day. She went through everything step by step, explaining what she was doing and giving me different options, and the end result was even better than I’d expected. I looked and felt like myself, only better! ;) It was my first experience with airbrush makeup, and I was psyched to discover that it looked great AND felt completely weightless. There’s nothing worse than feeling like you have a ton of makeup caked on, especially in the summer heat!
Anni was also incredibly patient and flexible on my wedding day. We ran into a couple of unforeseen challenges and last-​minute changes (the room that we were planning to get ready in didn’t have air conditioning and it was a super humid day, so we had to relocate), but she rolled with the punches and made sure that everything went off without a hitch. I even asked if she’d do makeup for one extra person, assuming that there’d be time, and she totally made it work within our limited timeframe. We were all thrilled with how we looked, both in person and in photos.
Aside from being a super talented makeup artist, Anni is also a blast to be around. She’s friendly, funny, and put everyone at ease (distracting us all from how nervous we were on the big day!) I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Anni has helped me achieve the perfect look for my reception and tea ceremony in Aug, 2015. Not only was she able to take me in for a trial at a short notice but she was able to take my feedback of what I preferred that I think will work best for me and my comfort level and execute on the day of! That’s always nearly impossible for most people as due to the time restraint, I wasn’t able to go for another trial in between my first and only trial with Anni and the morning of my event. But Anni took my suggestion, listened and this is all via «email», she heard and understood what I wanted and absolutely performed magic without even having me for a second trial! As I was getting nervous in between that time frame, I was super duper impressed and was blown away by the result and again, this is from changes I requested to be made right before the morning of and my look was even different than the one we did during my trial and it was flawless. Exactly what I wanted. Thank you Anni for your patience, professionalism and talent. Can’t say enough. Trust Anni Bruno.

Personable, funny, professional and talented. Anni has it all. Not only is she the coolest person I ever met, but she finished 2 bridesmaids and 1 brides just in the nick of time. Anni took the time at the trial to try out different looks, ask me the feeling I was going for with my makeup that day, and ultimately allowed me to look natural and confident the day of the wedding. I never wear makeup on a daily basis and Anni was able to even my skin tone, highlight my eyes, and accent my lips just enough so it showed up in pictures, but I also felt comfortable in my own skin. I would definitely recommend Anni for wedding makeup. And please have her add the eyelashes. they make all the difference in the world.

I don’t know my way around girly products, but I knew I wanted to look super hot on my wedding day. Luckily I found Anni, and she did an amazing job!
I didn’t really know what kind of look I wanted, but I sent Anni several reference photos, and she completely got it. I looked like me, but like a perfect-​skinned, elegant, glowing version of me.
I also have very, very sensitive and acne prone skin, and the airbrush makeup she used covered everything without looking cakey and didn’t make me break out.
AND she did my makeup even though she was stuck in Brooklyn after hurricane Sandy and my wedding was in Manhattan, catching a ride to the venue with my (lovable but) crazy family.

I have short hair and am a makeup novice, so hiring a makeup artist was a big priority for my wedding. After meeting Anni Bruno at Wedding Crashers, I knew she was the one. We hit it off right away and she was beyond easy to work with in scheduling the trial and making a plan for the big day. The trial was so much fun — she listened to my ideas and looked at pictures of our décor and my dress before making me up. Anni has the incredible ability to make you feel like a million bucks while making sure you still look like yourself. Everyone who had their makeup done by Anni on the wedding day was blown away, especially people who claimed to not like having their makeup done by other people. To top it off, the makeup lasted forever (I had to use multiple removers 14 hours later to get it off). Anni is the best!

I just booked Anni for my makeup for my wedding in June. I am very natural but am looking for a little more drama on my special day. I showed Anni pictures of what I am picturing and she did a phenomenal job. I looked in the mirror and actually teared up thinking how pretty she made me look and feel AND how even more excited she made me feel about my special day. She is great book her asap!!!

Anni literally saved the day! I was stuck in a bind one month before my wedding after having a horrible experience trying to find a makeup artist. I could tell she genuinely felt bad for me and was so helpful and accommodating to fit me in for a trial asap. She spent a lot of time at the trial understanding the look I was going for and really paying attention to detail (didn’t just go through the trial quickly). Day of, I wanted to change one of the colors we used up a bit and she had no problem making it look amazing. Also, I felt very comfortable working with Anni. She super sweet, fun, and talented. And she was very professional throughout the entire process.
I would definitely recommend Anni to anyone looking for a stellar makeup artist in the area!

I booked Anni to help my bridesmaids and I get ready for my wedding and am so glad I did. She is professional, warm, and super easy to get along with. I enjoyed meeting with her for my trial run — I’m not much of an everyday makeup wearer and I really liked that she made the whole process easy to understand. She definitely knows her stuff. She mentioned that she tests products in steam rooms at spas to make sure they last under hot, sweaty conditions (like dancing all night!). I also wish I could put fake eyelashes on with the ease she does! Anni also had great recommendations for other vendors, spray tan, hair, etc.
She did a great job getting us gals photo ready on my big day and her funny, friendly demeanor helped keep tension low (even with some super particular faces). My makeup was flawless all night long. Thank you Anni!

Anni Bruno was absolutely wonderful to work with. If you are reading this and looking for someone to hire for bridal makeup, please do yourself a favor and contact her. She goes the extra mile to give her clients absolute confidence that she will provide them with the look they want for any special occasion. I hired her for my wedding, and I can’t say enough good things about her. During my trial with her, we tried on a few different looks until I found one I was happy with. I felt very comfortable, and it was great to connect with her on a personal level. Through the months leading up to the wedding, she was in contact me, providing scheduling and confirmations, and was immediately responsive to any last minute questions I had, and accommodating to scheduling changes. She doesn’t book more than one person/​event per day, so you can have complete confidence that you are her number one priority. And the final product was exactly what I had envisioned — stunningly beautiful.
In addition to her flawless work, Anni is a genuinely kind person — she deftly handled a very emotional situation and was able to turn tears into laughter. Thank you Anni, for your part in making my wedding a fantastic experience, and your consummate professionalism. If I could give 6 stars to Anni, I would. She worked her amazing magic, and my wedding makeup lasted more than 12 hours. It looked amazing, and it didn’t feel noticeable. I don’t know that I’ve ever felt so pretty in my life, and Anni helped to make that happen. Thank you! Plus, she is nice, upbeat and funny, so getting ready on the day of was so much better. My sister and a friend also had their makeup done. My friend slept in her makeup so that she could wear it for another day – she loved her makeup that much.

I am so glad that I found Anni for my wedding. She designed a makeup look for me that suited my personality, dress, and overall feel of the day. It came out looking perfect and lasted all night without a hitch. She also did my mom’s makeup, who does not wear makeup on a regular basis and had not for years, and she made her look beautiful and natural without feeling like too much for someone not used to it. She really knew what she was doing with her products as well– she always knew what to recommend for anything I asked.
Beyond her expertise, Anni was so much fun to be around! With all the wedding stresses, it is so great to find someone that makes you forget there is anything to stress about and just makes you laugh and want to sit and chat all day. She is definitely a find. I highly highly recommend her!

I really cannot recommend Anni enough for wedding day make-​up. She was such a joy to have on hand all morning while I was getting ready with my girls. She is so great at working with each person to make sure they are comfortable with the makeup she is putting on them and that they look the best they could possibly look. She did my makeup, my mom, and my mother-​in-​law. The compliments were plentiful and we all three felt like we looked the best we have in our lives.

Anni is a comical genius/​wonderful makeup artist. I describe her this way, because not only did she do a fabulous job on my makeup for my wedding but she also kept me laughing thru the drama and stress of that morning!
I was referred to Anni by my friend who used her for her wedding and I’m so happy it worked out that way. Our trial appointment was great, we tried out a couple of ideas and came up with something I loved! While of course there had to be a lot of makeup for the photos and to last all day, it wasn’t overpowering and I still looked like myself which was important to my new hubs and me. He loved it too, what more can I ask for. She did an excellent job on my bmaids as well and even covered up a tattoo on one of them. She was on time and ready to go with the flow the whole time.

Anni did makeup for my wedding this past October and she was amazing! She did faces from 13 — 62 and we all looked our very best without looking overdone. Our makeup also lasted forever– I woke up the next morning pretty! I have already recommended Anni to several people, and am looking forward to an occasion to use her again. She is a wonderful find and a definite must-​have on your special day!

For my wedding, Anni did the makeup for me, my mother, my two sisters, and my two nieces, and I can not say enough good things about her! It was not surprising considering what a good feeling I had after our trial. She is a great listener who uses her expertise to make your vision happen. She made me look my best, but I still looked like myself. That day, she did makeup on a 6 year old as well as a 60 year old and she had them both looking and feeling great! Considering how much a bride might spend on wedding photos, the cost of a makeup artist is a small price to pay to ensure that you will look back at those photos and love how you look. I highly recommend her!

Anni recently did the makeup for myself and my bridal party. She is quick but meticulous and my makeup stayed on all night! Everyone looked beautiful and was pleased with their looks. The makeup looked phenomenal on camera as well. It also doesn’t hurt that Anni is super nice!

Anni did my wife’s make-​up for our wedding, and it was amazing. She looked so natural and beautiful, the perfect bride — it was beyond our wildest dreams.
She’s also a lot of fun, and was a pleasure to hang out with throughout. Can’t recommend her highly enough.

Anni did full makeup for my mother and I last weekend, including really dreamy looking fake eyelashes (she trims them so they’re right for your face) and airbrushed foundation. The airbrushing didn’t look heavy, so you could still see my freckles, and it felt lighter and better than regular makeup. She really listens and wants to collaborate, which is awesome, so what she did with my mom was totally different than what she did with me. She spent forever with us, which totally surprised us, and made us both feel so special.

Headshot shoots can be high stakes, and you want to look your best, but as a guy, you don’t want to worry that you look like a clown or you’re in a Restoration play. You want your makeup to seemlessly cover temporary inconsistencies and not stand out as «make up.» And it would be nice if the makeup artist is also pleasant. Anni Bruno was fantastic, her makeup was efficient, made me look great without looking «made up» and she is a wonderful human being to have on with you on a shoot. Two thumbs up!

I had an appointment with Anni about a month ago for a personal shopping consultation to once and for all figure out what I should be doing with foundation (and powder, concealer, and blush). I had always thought I really needed to slather it on to cover up my skin blotchiness, but she was able to help me find makeup that’s sheer, evens out my skin tone, covers up my flaws, and holds up all day without feeling heavy or sticky.
It’s like going shopping with a really cool girlfriend, except the really cool girlfriend also totally knows her stuff about makeup. Anni helped me figure out the right colors for my skin tone, patiently guided me through trying out various products, gave me tons of pointers about brushes and application and what products best suited my needs, and helped me find a few bargains while she was at it. She has been great about answering additional questions after our appointment as well. And it was FUN too! I feel so much better informed about my makeup now, and so much better about how I look. She’s super-​knowledgeable and the whole experience was great. I was very, very pleased with her services.
