History

Established in 2004.

NYCoyne is a family run business. Company owners Michael & Cassy Coyne are married and both artist living in Brooklyn, NY. Michael has been in the finishing business for eight years with the start of his first company Starving Artists which was a collaborative group of artists.

We are also hunters gatherers. Professionals in antique restoration, we started as a company with the mission to restore articles of the past. In our journey over the past 8 years, we have teetered on the line of collectors, played with the title of «hoarders» (only for a while, promise) and now we are gathering our knowledge, experience, and most importantly for you, our awesome collection into one store. We are also Wednesday’s Pick Up.

You can vista us at our online store on Etsy at Wednesdays Pick Up or at the Brooklyn Flea on Weekends.

Business Owner

I was born in upstate New York and studied at School of Visual Arts in NYC. I now live in Brooklyn and work with furniture in my shop or on location. My favorite type of furniture to work with is mid-century danish. My favorite pass time is going out and getting vintage furniture.
