Oza9Nine Design Studio

When I think of Oza Plynton a lot of «e» words come to mind: energy, enthusiasm, exhuberance, etc. I totally enjoyed meeting her at World Makerfaire NYC where she was selling her handmade jewelry designs. All her designs are assertive and interesting, like Oza herself. Made of silver and minerals, they look striking and feel substantial, smooth, balanced and comfortable on the body. I loved many of her pieces and finally decided on a necklace in the shape of the I-​Ching trigram Ch’ien made of silver, hematite, and quartz. It was a bit too long for me but Oza was happy to shorten it back at the studio and mail it to me. Now I have to get some earrings to go with the necklace. Her stuff sells at art galleries, museum stores and gift shops but I’ll probably just find her at the Hell’s Kitchen flea market.
