Park Slope Auto Center is THE place to go! These guys are extremely knowledgable and work FAST! I brought in my ’86 Coachmen motorhome and they had no hesitation to get me in the day of and completely transform my vehicle! Muhammad and Kemal are two down to earth genuine humans who make sure you understand what they’re doing and why they are doing it. The whole time I felt like they had my best interest and my vehicle’s best interest in mind! I highly recommend this auto shop for ALL your mechanical needs!

A couple of days ago I had the privilege of breaking down on the same block as Park Slope Auto Repair. I walked into the business, told Mohammed that my car wasn’t starting and they quickly sprung into action. Turns out that my battery was the culprit. After a thorough check, my car needed several extra repairs (ball joints, slow leak etc. There was no pressure to fix the repairs at the time and Mohammed even offered to print out a list of what was wrong for me to take to my regular mechanic in the event I decided not to repair with them. I decided to fix some of the repairs at the time, and it’s made a major difference in the operation of my car. The staff were professional, fast and most of all reasonably priced. I will definitely come back to Park Slope Auto Repair.

Quick, easy, & inexpensive. Mohammed and his crew took care of a routine service on my ’13 Prius, for hundreds less than the dealership quote.
Only hiccup was that after paying, I asked for a detailed receipt, and was told to write my email address down so they could email one After a week w/​no receipt I called and asked again. Three days later, had to call and ask a third time. Mohammed was very apologetic (but offered no real explanation for the delay), and emailed the receipt & explanation of services to me by the end of the day — and hooked me up w/​a courtesy voucher, which was nice.
I’ll come back — nice guys, good service on my auto.

With an expired inspection sticker, I needed somewhere to inspect my car immediately! I called up Park Slope Autorepair and they told me to bring it right in. Within 10 minutes they were inspecting the car. They were fast, efficient and fair. They gave us a great price, got the work done while we waited and even test drove the car to make sure it was safe. The service was impeccable! They were friendly and professional! We will definitely be coming back here for all our auto needs!

Nothing like a dead starter at 4pm on a frigid rainy Saturday afternoon in the middle of Park Slope. After a quick Unilocal search I found PSA to be the only shop still open. Gave them a call and they said to come on in, which was a relief after getting answering machines everywhere else.
Mohammed and his staff were responsive and highly professional to deal with. They worked with us on a fair price, and were able to turn the car around in just an hour or so. They even made sure my pregnant wife had a seat by a heater, and were truly a pleasure to chat with.
Until we found PSA, our circumstances had seemed pretty dire — we would have had to be towed home, only to be towed to a mechanic on Monday, missing work to get the situation taken care of. Instead, in under an hour, we were on our way and can relax the rest of the weekend without an unresolved busted car situation hanging over our heads.
So glad to have found this place, and recommend it to anyone in need of a good repair shop (Saturdays or otherwise)!

These guys have serviced my vehicles for ten years… They are knowledgeable, skilled, fair, and loyal. In an industry that is infamous for customer deception, these guys make it clear, straight forward, and utterly transparent. I went in for my first NYS yearly inspection, picking them at random. I asked about a few minor cosmetic imperfections while I was there, which they fixed for free. They also advised me to not spend additional money on larger cosmetic issues instead of ripping me off. I will go back again. Fair guys, conscientious. No hesitation to recommend, excellent service.

These guys at Park slope auto center took great care of me I was broke down in the street on 4th Ave they sent a macanic to look at my car just to be able to get it to there shop to repair it they found out what it was. Had it running in no time for me they went beyond what a auto repair should do. The best experience if had. Hard to find a good dependable auto repair

Visited this place a few times and I must say, they not only provided me with quality service but they will send one of their mechanics to test drive your vehicle with you to ensure your satisfaction. I used to go to another place closer to them but what really made me appreciate them is they don’t just tell you what’s wrong with your vehicle, they actually show you.
That’s all anyone can ask for.

Thieves thieves thieves!
Came here to tighten a bolt on my car. I pointed out which bolt needed to be tighten to the mechanic. The mechanic didn’t need to do anything. The car didn’t need to go on the lift either. Just a simple lose bolt under my car to tighten since I didn’t own the special air gun to tighten it myself. It took the guy about 23 seconds and it was finished.
I asked him. «Do I owe you anything?» He responded. «Yea, the boss said $ 30 but he’ll give you a discount. Only $ 25.» That was absolutely ridiculous. This is place is awful and I would never come back.
Rip off greedy people run this shit hole!
It’s never busy either. Which can mean a few things. The people here probably do shit jobs. The customers don’t wind up coming back because of this. And lastly they are plane untrustworthy people.
Save your money and go somewhere else. There are about 10 mechanic shops all within a blocks radius.

I came here to get an oil change for my Honda. They assured me they used a «better» oil than other shops, but it would cost the same and could be done in 15 minutes. I thought it was odd that the manager asked me how much I had payed previously for oil changes, but I didn’t think too much of it. They did finish in 25 minutes, but when I got the bill it cost $ 95! He didn’t budge on the price even when I showed him a receipt for the same type of oil for much less from another shop. Lesson learned — ask for an estimate first (and don’t get an oil change here unless you want to pay double).

I went to the Park Slope Auto Center for the first time yesterday for a NYS Inspection. I was greeted immediately and was not only told but shown the necessary repairs that my car needed. I was not coerced at any time to move forward with those repairs. Once I agreed they began working on my car immediately. They were very kind and accommodating.

I went for an oil change and filter check. The mechanic said no problem. He also told me as he had the car on the elevated jack, that my brake pads in the rear were very worn down. He actually took the tire off and the pad and showed me himself. I compared it to the front ones and they were very worn.
If they didn’t catch the pad problem I would have eventually ruined my rear rotors which would have been a real pain and bigger expense.
Mohammad and his crew are all very nice, honest, and forthright. I feel like I have a trusty mechanic now, that I can depend on. Great job! I’ll be back again to gladly support this local Mom and Pop neighborhood business.
