Pediatric Immediate Care

I took my 13 month old son Matthew to this place after he feel very sick with runny nose and temperature which wouldn’t go away despite doses of Tylenol. The final straw was when he threw up on my Dad who was babysitting him that evening.
Our experience there was not positive.
The registration on the mini computer took 30 minutes to compete with endless repetitive unnecessary questions. The attending physician was cold and quick.
I accidentally paid with the wrong credit card (wanted to use flexible spending) and 2 seconds upon signing the credit slip I begged for her to cancel the credit and use my flexible spending Visa card instead. It’s actually very easy at the click of a button to cancel. She told me NO it’s not possible and she won’t do it — period. You mean you can’t spend 1 minute on this when you are charging my insurance $ 600 for this quick 10 minute consultation? She wouldn’t budge.
Just looked at the insurance statement.
They charged $ 576 for the 10 minute consultation with the dr. Impressive right?!
We are not going back there (unless there’s absolutely no other place to go). I pray my baby will not need urgent care in the future. I’m doing research now to find another closeby center just in case there’s a need God forbid.
I don’t recommend this urgent care. I believe their ultimate mission is $$$$$ and not on the welfare of the patient. They certainly do not value repeat customers or any idea on the concept of customer service.

My visit was just perfect. Came first thing in the morning — called before to find out what time the doctor gets in (10am). I was the only one in the office at 10am, filled up some forms on a tablet, paid copay & doctor saw us right away. My daughter had a sprang elbow (it got partially out of a socket) — Dr. Olaf fixed it right away. Had a few good tricks for working with kids too — my daughter cried with pain when she went in and came out smiling eating a lollipop with the fixed hand.
The office has a decent waiting room with toys and tv and the staff was very nice.
Maybe a coincidence, but we’ve had a great experience.

Not sure about the quality of their care since when we needed them — «immediate“ly — it turned out that their website had the wrong hours. They were not open.
Thanks Pediatric Immediate Care. Now fix the website, please.
