Phileanor provides bespoke floral design services for events, businesses, private residences and large scale installations. We are also available to deliver individual arrangements throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens from Tuesday through Saturday (please contact us at least 48 hours in advance for deliveries). Utilizing the freshest blooms, foliage and fruit of the season, as well as unusual and occasionally foraged materials, Phileanor treats every project as an artistic endeavor, an approach that imbues each design with the ability to elevate both the mood and appearance of its surroundings. Although Phileanor operates as a private design studio and is therefore not open to the public, we welcome all inquiries into our floral design services. History

Established in 2014.

Phileanor is a floral design company based in Brooklyn, New York, and is also available for travel to events in central North Carolina. It is the carefully curated vision of Emily Howard Kudva, Phileanor’s founder and creative director. An amalgam of ‘Philip’ and ‘Eleanor’ — Emily’s paternal and maternal grandparents who, sadly, passed away before she was born — Phileanor is an homage to family, both living and deceased, blood and otherwise, that have contributed their support and lent their influence to Emily over the years. Reflecting Emily’s roots in the rural South, Phileanor executes its designs and installations with a view to celebrating the natural beauty inherent in every stem, petal and vine.
