History

Established in 2013.

Piz-​zetta Was Started by Two Child hood Friends, that also worked in a pizzeria when they were in there teens. After Having different careers in the past years, they noticed that a most Pizzerias do not have italians working there or owning Pizzeria’s. Now we are Bringing the Italian Back To Piz-​zetta Born In Sicily Raised In Brooklyn.

LOVE this place. I discovered it last year and have been hooked since. Every chance I’m in the area, I have to get a slice! The sauce is ridiculously good. This is what a slice should taste like!

We order from them all the time. Highly recommend. The Grandma style pizza is the best. Nice thin crust with a garlic sauce that is out of this world. Their Meat lovers pie is alsi insane. Total comfort food. Would give 5 stars except that the pizzas sometimes show up with the crust a little soggy and sometimes missing plates and napkins. But definitely get some food here because these guys are the real deal when it comes to authentic NY pizza. Real NY pizza, not that dominos or pappa j’s crap!

After a day of walking around, we opted for delivery. Our order was completed through the Unilocal app which was easy.
A NYC cheese pizza and garlic knots was around $ 20.
The pizza was nice and cheesey and foldable (a must for a classic NYC pizza).
Delivery room around 20 minutes. The pizza was too hot to eat right away!

Great pizza and friendly service. They use fresh ingredients! You have to try their margharita slice, it’s the best! The restaurant is so clean, too. They even have free Wi-​Fi!

Ordered seamless from here tonight and was very impressed… delivery was very quick and efficient and the pizza was fresh and tasty. We tried the grandma square pizza, which had a thinner crust, mozzarella, and sauce, as well as a ton of seasonings (garlic alert!!!). Will definitely be adding this to the seamless rotation when looking for a fresh delicious tasting pizza!

Great place to just stop by and grab some food that’s great price quickly. I had tried the sausage and pepperoni slice and garlic knots. They were a bit on the oily, and I do wish that the garlic knots were more garlic-​y. Overall, still good though.

I’ve ordered three times. Not good. I’ve had pizza, pepperoni rolls, penne a la vodka, chicken Alfredo, mozzarella sticks, wings.
The penne a la vodka tasted like a bad jar of marinara sauce. The pizza the second time around was definitely better than the first.
Everything else was just blah. The chicken Alfredo had the same issue. It was just bland and not the right flavoring for sauce. Their pasta dishes aren’t on point. I would prefer dominos pasta.

Ever have one of those days? The kind of day where work is a pain in your ass, the Mets lost in miserable fashion the night before, your wife realizes she’s way out of your league, you’re getting static from the cowards, etc. (I gotta say, today was a bad day).
You know, the ones where nothing is going your way. Well… pizza. Pizza helps.
And Piz-​zetta is here for you. They make a good slice (I like the margherita better than their standard). And they nice guys behind the counter (it’s a real family biz) might see you eyeing the OBSCENELY garlicky garlic knots, and give you a couple on the house.
And suddenly, everything seems a little bit better. Except your breath. Your breath is now TERRIBLE.

I really liked the pizza I ordered from here. I didn’t give it a 5 because the pizza was thinker on one side than the other and it made the thinner pieces taste a lot different. I ordered the grandmas pie and was really pleased with the flavor. Definitely a place I would order from again and hope that the pizza is more even. My friend has the plain pizza and she was happy with hers as well. We also ordered mozzarella sticks. Not the typical ones you get but they were still good. Overall happy with our experience.

Good pies for reasonable prices and the delivery is pretty fast. I’ve had single slices, too, and they are definitely passable, although I found the crust to be a bit too crispy for my taste. I have certainly had better pizza in New York but this place is good enough to go back.

The place doesn’t look like much from the outside — looks like just another pizza place. But one bite and you can tell — thin crust and slightly crispy on the bottom. Juicy mozzarella cheese on top, and tomato sauce bursting with flavour. And huge slices are only $ 2.50 for such a high quality pizza!

This free can of soda coupon is BULLSHIT. Also, the owner was super rude on the phone. When I called to make sure that the delivery guy would bring my soda, he was suddenly too busy to stay on the phone and said he would call me back — which he never did.
My first and last time ordering from this place. There was nothing wrong with the pizza itself, but I hate to give my money to people who treat their customers the way they do.

Best New York pizza I’ve had! Service was fast and the pizza was affordable.
Ordered a slice of fresh mozzarella and sausage.
The fresh mozzarella was just slightly chewy and the sauce was a touch sweet with a hint of basil. A great combination. The sausage added a nice layer of spice to the standard cheese pizza. They did not skimp and every bite was loaded!
What made the pizza so good was that it was so crispy without being overcooked. Loved it!
