I purchased a sofa and a computer desk here a year ago. I didnt want to go through the IKEA route where I buy the furniture, haul 100lbs of it in my car or pay the ridiculous delivery fees like naïve hipsters then bring it up a flight of stairs then assemble it. Once assemble only to enjoy the furniture wiggle because its made of brittle pressed wood and cheap hardware.(Wood glue helps) With these mom and pop shops, price and service are negotiable. Delivery was fair and they brought it up to my apt and assemble and most importantly threw all packing material away.

Ordered a tv stand in December, finally delivered it in February and completely the wrong piece. All the sales people argued that this was the right one(I’m not a moron I know which TV stand I ordered) went back into the store to pick out a new one because the one I originally picked out was not available anymore. All the sales people were ridiculously rude and uncooperative(because I had already paid them their money) after searching through their old dusty furniture books and almost in tears, a representative from Ashley furniture came in with new samples of tv stands. We immediately picked out one with a fireplace in it and I agreed to pay more money and they told me I would receive it within the week. After 2 weeks it arrived and again the wrong piece ! No fireplace ! When I called the store to let them know this I was told I never ordered the one with the fireplace, the salesmen told me that they don’t make fireplace tv stands because it «melts the TV» I also have the picture that he gave me with the fireplace. These people are nothing but a bunch of connivers and liars also extremely pushy people who don’t have a clue as to what they’re doing ! They only want your money ! Your better off going to a reputable place rather than this shit hole that’s stuck in the 70’s … If I could give it negative stars I absolutely would !!
