Excellent Papusas, finally found authentic papusas I’ve been missing in my life! The pickled cabbage was done correctly and acts as the perfect condiment, cutting the heaviness of the pupusa cheese. My first time ordering delivery here and the food arrived in tact and carefully packed. Ordered 3 pupusas and their chicken soup. The chicken soup was delicious, full of veggies and a large bone in piece of chicken, with a side of rice. A tad salty, but still hit the spot for comforting nourishment. Highly recommend for their papusas, plus they travel well for delivery.

Called to receive delivery out front, but no one is outside. I called the store, and am told the guy has been out front the whole time… Right… Food received looks as if they dumped everything in a zip lock bag and blended it togethed. Absolutely disgusting… This is the worst delivery I’ve ever received. Ever.

This is for their delivery service. I ordered from them using grub hub, the food arrived within and hour, which was a good start. After I got the food, I noticed the problems: part of the food spelt inside the paper bag. I ordered chicken lime+salad+rice+beans, what I got was: chicklimesaldricebeans. One big mess of food and skald and rice. I could call them to complain, but I was too hungry. It tasted bad, I barely ate half(picture included). I also ordered hero with chicken cutlet. The chicken was too over cooked, and felt like eating peaces of wood. I ended eating just the bread. They should do much better!

I ordered food. i waited for 50 min. got sick of waiting so i gave them a call. the guy on the other end of the line said«i got your food here, ready, give me 5 min ». i waited for 25 minutes before i got my order delivered. my food was cold & sweaty and the overall service was terribly unreliable, therefore i give this place 1 star. no one should get their food cold & sweaty 1 ½ hour later.

We like Puerta del Sol’s pupusas, loroco(wild flower) and zuccini are my favorite. We got a very salvadorean style breakfast(eggs, beans, chorizo, sweet fried plantain, hard cheese), very very good. I dare you to try the Cancha Alvarez chicken sandwich!

First of all this is not a mexican restaurant! It’s from El Salvador! Anyways… As a salvadorian, I always get excited when a restaurant that serves Central American cuisine opens around the area! Hoping it can turn out to be the #1 spot to hit on the weekends or something with the family. WRONGAGAIN! Big spacious place, slow service, drunk men, not a family environment. Big disappointment. 1. Our order was very simple, 5 of us… 6 pupusas. 2 revueltas, 2 con loroco, 1 de pollo, 1 just with chicharron. 1 tamal de elote. 1 order of yuca with chicharron frito, and 1 Bandeja San Miguel, and 3 orchatas. 2. The orchatas… Horrible! More water and ice than taste. It was like drinking dirty rag water. 3. $ 3 for mediocre chicken/pork/cheese or mix pupusas? Not worth it to start. It needs more flavor, and more size if you’re going to make this things $ 3!!! Comon… And The chicharron pupusa never came out and was charged for, Also the pollo pupusa was charged twice! So $ 6 for one! Eventually the bill was fixed at the end but still. 4. The yuca was the only enjoyable part, nice soft fried semi crunchy and tasty. The onions and cabbage on top with the pork, made it taste good! Thumbs up for this one! =) 5. Tamal de Elote, oh God!!! What was that!?? It tasted like it came out of the microwave a day before and heated up again the next day all day. Very dried, no flavor, more flour than corn. No Bueno! 6. Bandeja San Miguel, the last plate that came to the table after our waitress forgot what we order at the beginning anyways… So it was ok, the carne asada wasn’t really carne asada, chicken breast was fine garlic over it, the sausage no! It had a very old flavor to it, the shrimp was shrimp! Nothing special and the salad with avocado I mean who doesn’t like avocado right? LoL. If you want to take my advice, don’t eat here at night or weekends. Take to go if you really want to try it. If management is reading this please be aware that after I left the restaurant an hour later I drove by and men that were drinking in your restaurant were beating each other up, outside your door. This is not good for business, I’m sure you know this already though right?! You can’t expect a family to come in and sit down for dinner and feel safe when all you have in your restaurant are hungry perverted drunk men. Sighs… Another restaurant failure.

I ordered 6 pupusas and the chicken soup and it was plenty of food and for a great price. Pupusas are $ 2 and I ordered the loroco with cheese, chicharron w/cheese and the revuelto. All were yummy and came with the red sauce and cabbage and the soup came with rice! Will definitely order again! What to try next…

Tostones were fresh and delicious. Also Ordered the Bandeja San Miguel which came with a variety of meat. Chicken, steak, sausage all seasoned to perfection. It was enough food to fill me and my girlfriend. Great food with decent prices. Will definitely be coming back.
