I don’t know what the negative reviews are all about. This place is fine, not any worse that the average health facility in this country. I found the staff to be really really nice. The place is small but clean. Having read all the reviews, I expected a very long wait. I showed up 30min before my appointment and had to wait about 10min tops.
The nurse was great, very kind and it didn’t hurt at all.

According to quest, appointments have priority over walk-​ins. They don’t respect this rule at all, giving priority to you only if you are a Polish speaker. I have always waited at least 45 minutes to an hour. The technicians are very rude and unorganized. And yes, there is no receptionist because it looks like they’re constantly understaffed. Avoid at all costs!

I wouldn’t recommend the Quest Diagnostic on Manhattan Avenue for blood tests or anything else. It is a horrible place! We recently went there for blood test for our baby. It was the worst experience in our life! First of all, we spent there more than 2.5 hours waiting. There was only one lady in her 50-​s who had to cover for the whole office (drawing blood, data entry, responding to phone calls, reception stuff, etc.). She was very rude to us and she was not sensitive to our little baby at all. She kept us in a long line with adults (there was no more babies in the office) for almost three hours. She served everybody who was on a list before us and even after us (we took a photo of their log as a proof)! When we asked how come, she would come up with some ridiculous excuses (appointments, etc). We saw one woman who made a noise about her elderly father and this old gentleman was quickly taken care of. We were the last people who left this damn office, exhausted, with the screaming baby on hands, blood streaming out of her wound! It was a horror movie in real life, I am not kidding you!
After hours of waiting the rude woman told us that she is not sure if she will be able to draw the blood. Seriously? Then she forcefully grabbed my baby’s hand. The baby was petrified of her and screamed a lot. Please note that our baby doesn’t usually cry during her vaccine shots (only a bit afterwards). But at that moment, she was crying like crazy. I never heard her crying like that. After the test, she was bleeding a lot and I told the lady about it. She indifferently replied that this is because her blood pressure jumped up because of her cry. I asked her to give me a sterile pad (blood was all over my baby’s and my hands). The lady was already on the computer. She took her gloves off, took the pads with her bare hands, which she did not even wash before the test. Then she put the same dirty gloves on and was going to put a bandage on my daughter’s hand. She did not even try to change her gloves! We ended up with a huge bruise on my daughter’s hand for about 2 weeks. I feel so guilty for not leaving that place right away and for putting my baby thru all this! Please do not go there! Just go or drive to any other location.

Though this place is short staffed with 2 – 3 people max, it makes up for their friendliness. I’ve came here repeatedly for lab work which is convenient to my doctors within the area. They made all my not so pleasant experiences of countless tubes of blood and urine samples, into a less stressful and anxious process by having hospitality.
It’s a straight forward «lab room dept» as any other section in a hospital setting or doctor’s office, so I’m not sure what the expectations or complaints are about. I’ll take a good attitude over office décor any day. I’ve come to find in my experience, most people possess apathy and misery in these types of settings or in customer service.
All the times I’ve gone, I’ve came without an appt. The 1^st time was severely crowded in the late afternoon towards closing time and was short staffed to 1 person only working for whatever reason. I waited 2 hrs and couldn’t wait anymore. She understood and allowed me to come back the next day to be seen immediately under the circumstances. An attitude and customer service goes a long way. :) The all the other times, I waltzed right in with no problem less than 10 min wait or seen immediately. As any other place, its a gamble with the wait game.

It was irritating that no one picks up the phone (especially because I wanted to make sure they got a faxed prescription) and reading the previous reviews I was very wary of going here to have my blood drawn. However, they must have moved the space because it is across the street of the building shown in the picture by an earlier reviewer. Also, it felt very clean and neat in there and while there may not have been an official receptionist, one of the women working there took me in ~5 minutes after I signed in (and there were at least four people ahead of me). The woman who drew my blood was very thorough, and I was happy with the experience. So my experience itself was very pleasant, but minus a star for no phone response.

There is a phone number no one EVER picks up.
There appeared to be at least two employees in the afternoon and the place was busy. You will wait an hour minimum, appointment or not.
My wife went in the evening and there was only one person in the whole place. She was there for two hours.
The people who do work there where friendly and thorough. The new office is bright and airy.
Don’t think getting there when they open will help you either, because they have to spend some time finishing their coffee and setting things up.

This «medical facility» has no receptionist, and if that isn’t enough make you take your piss someplace more deserving, when you find the nearest technician to let them know you’re here and ask what you need to do, they act like you just dropped a stool sample in their coffee.

Maybe 2 people working for a room full of people. Just waiting and waiting and waiting and no one has any idea how long anything will take. Total suck.

This place is scary. The fact that this office has anything to do with healthcare is crazy. The waiting room is the size of a large closet and was so packed many people had to stand. There was no clear receptionist and the woman most people were arguing with spoke mainly polish. There was literally fabric stapled to the walls as if to mimic wallpaper? Half the lighting didn’t seem to be working. The guest list was a disastrous 2 pages with scribbles all over it. I left after 10 minutes.

Had an appt. Waited an hour anyway with no communication from the staff. I do know at least one employee goes out front for a cigarette every 30 minutes. Shoddily run, not even a receptionist.

There was a wait (even with an appointment) but the people that work here are incredibly nice. They drew ELEVEN tubes of blood from me and I didn’t mind.
