My antique 3g Iphone recently died and I went to the Greenpoint radio shack to upgrade. I was quite pleasantly surprised how knowledgeable and help James was in helping me to upgrade my phone and activate it. For those in Williamsburg/Greenpoint looking for iphones, no need to leave the hood!

Eric is a really great help — he took the time to explain Virgin Mobile’s services over the phone & now I’m really encouraged to go over there and get not one but TWO!

Honestly the cheapest place for hdmi cables, data cards, etc just go in knowing what you need so you can avoid the annoying staff…(but seriously they’re high school kids working on commission you have to cut ‘em a break)

After going to Wizard – – and failing completely, I walked down the block and across the street to the Greenpoint Radio Shack. They weren’t much more helpful. Mark, bless his heart, seemed to be just out of high school or college, and despite his beard — artfully trimmed — didn’t impress or inspire. I was in the market for a digital audio recorder that recorded in MP3 format and was compatible with the Mac. Mark didn’t know which recorded they had in stock met my requirements, so he introduced me to a coworker. His coworker told me that most digital recorders record in WAV, and that you could use them with anything. Then a customer stepped in. A customer — whose name I didn’t get — said, «Can’t you just record on your iPod?» «What do you mean?» I replied. «I think Belkin makes an adaptor that lets you record on the iPod.» «That’s perfect,» I said. So I left, ready to make the walk home and check out this Belkin item. Radio Shack didn’t have it in stock, but I ordered it online, upgraded to Quicktime Pro, and am now recording voice memos like nobody’s business. Except yours. Check this out: Indirectly, that’s because of Radio Shack — and its customers.
