I have been in the screen printing industry for seven years. I first discovered this medium during high-​school making my own Devo t-​shirt and proudly wearing it everywhere. Then while attending college for Art/​Graphic Design I landed a job screen printing using automatic and manual presses. After moving to New York and working at various print shops (screen printer, designer) I started renting an art studio which has since transformed into Raygun Printing. Raygun Printing is not a large corporate entity that has sweatshops in China. It is a small business and I do my best to make sure every customer is satisfied with the end product!

This is a long overdue review. I had Andy print out my band shirts for my album release in May. Turn around was super fast and the quality was great. He gave me a fair price and was a easy going guy. Will definitely go with him next time I need some shirts.

I left 2 voice mails and sent 2 emails in the past 4 months, no reply. Too bad, I took my large order to another printer. Glad I found out sooner than later, I’m not looking for a one man operation for my printing needs.

This guy went above and beyond. It is true it was totally impossible to get him on the phone but once I did reach him he was incredibly professional. I was designing a t-​shirt by committee for a family reunion. That part was a disaster. Andrew was incredibly patient, helping me with endless changes. Then, once I finally made the final decision, Sandy struck. While everybody else was worried about much more important things, I was emailing Andrew about whether the t-​shirts could still be ready by the weekend. He said they would be and they were! He got back to his shop by bike and finished my order in time. I can’t say enough good things about him.

Andy is really helpful, quick, and inexpensive. His turnaround time is pretty magical and he’ll work with you to make sure that your shirts and bags come out to your liking.

Great service, with quick and efficient turnaround. Also personal and one on one approach. I went somewhere else before Raygun, they were cold and really expensive. Andrew’s work is excellent and he is also great at working with artists and first time t-​shirt designers! I have used the t-​shirts in a performance at a Williamsburg art show, and will be premiering them on my website in the fall of 2010. I will return here again and recommend to anyone who wants personal, hometown service and excellent design in NYC!

Had Andy help me out with my prints for my senior thesis!!! I was recommended by a friend and out of all the silk screening studios I found in new york Raygun is pretty much the best choice there is~
Andy’s super friendly and very helpful and is willing to do any sort of custom printing you desire. The price is reasonable and the service is great. Raygun printing has no minimals so you can print any amount you want, and Andy has a flexible schedule so even if you’re under time pressure you just have to give him a heads up and he’ll get things done even if it takes a whole day in the studio. If I ever need help or has questions about silkscreen printing I’d go to Raygun for sure :)

I had Raygun print Onesies and Toddler T’s for my recent booth at the Columbus Circle Holiday Fair, and they came out so great! I was able to email him designs, see a proof over email and had them in plenty of time for the show. Also he was able to print them w/​eco-​friendly/​water-​based inks which was awesome and exactly the approach I wanted. Overall a really successful experience. Friendly, helpful with design suggestions, easily accessible, and fantastic final product. Not a single glitch.
