I can’t speak for the management back in May of 2014 but I know the management has changed since and I couldn’t be happier. My child was a slow learner and ever since entering Red Hat and the help from it’s wonderful staff, my son was able to get on track with the rest of the children his age. I noticed a huge difference in his behavior and most importantly his eagerness to sit down and learn. He became more social and started interacting with family members and other children in the park. I feel good when dropping my child off to daycare every morning opposed to other daycares I pulled him out from.

As you tour Red Hat Daycare it will look nice. However, after you enroll and pay, be prepared to deal with The Big Bad Wolf. The door of your child’s room will always be shut, so you will not know what the other kids look like in the group or even what the room, where your child spends their entire day, looks like. Also you will be discouraged from coming over unannounced. The teacher will become yours and your child’s boss and will proceed to tell you what her preferences are for your little one. Your requests will be ignored and even ridiculed. Verbal agreements between you and the teacher, that pertain to your baby, will be broken. Your teacher will not remember any details from your child’s day; instead both teacher and nanny will make up stories about the child’s behavior that do not correspond to real life. One of the practices to show parents how good this daycare is, is to change the diaper right before discharge, which is not a bad thing in general, however it is an example of staged behavior to please and trick parents at this facility. Most teachers are young, inexperienced and impatient, thus a lot of psychological abuse and trauma take place, like yelling at your child, giving them tasks inappropriate for their age, and telling them to ‘shut up’ when they are crying. Red Hat Daycare’s goal is money making, not child caring. If you are looking for teachers and nannies who will care for your little one, and have respect towards you, keep looking.
