History

Established in 1998.

Renaissance Children had started as an art studio led by a professional artist, illustrator and Parents Choice award winner, Anna Zakashansky. Our professional and creative atmosphere attracts young students of all ages from 6 and up. Our students work has been awarded by many National and International art competitions throughout the years. Our students who took special Mark Twain art test prep course are studying in prestigious schools like Mark Twain, Bay Academy, Laguardia HS, and other art programs. Studio now has opened its own Chess Club led by Chess Master, Boris; we have sewing classes by professional fashion and decorative artist Olena, where children have the opportunity to learn sewing, make own toys out of felt and cute garments. Recently we added ELA and Math tutoring program for all school ages, including test prep, advanced learning, common core, classic math, algebra, geometry and SAT prep course, etc. All instructors are fluent in Russian and English languages

Anna Z.

Business Owner

Professional artist, graduate of Nationa Academy of Fine Art and Architecture, Kiev, Ukraine, Anna has worked as an art director at Y&R, illustrated children’s picture books and was awarded prestigious Parents Choice Recommend Award for her book illustrations. Anna now devoted herself for an art studio Renaissance Children where several generation of young kids grew into great artists. Anna is teaching art classes and her studio grows every year.
